Biltwell EXFIL-7 Luggage

EXFIL is military jargon for "exfilltrate" which means, "Get the hell out of there as fast and organized as possible." The EXFIL 7 is a rugged collapsible storage bag for action-oriented motorcycle dudes on the go. The EXFIL-7 combines modern materials and construction with military-tested retention and expansion technology to create luggage that works even tougher than it looks. The "7" in this bag's name refers to the number of 12-oz. beer cans that can be stored and transported in its padded main compartment. The EXFIL-7 has a universal fit and is customizable for different applications and mounting locations such as the frame's down tubes, below the headlight on some front ends, above the headlight on tall and mid-sized handlebars, and of course on both sides of a sissy bar. EXFIL-7's strap configuration and four reinforced leather straps easily facilitates a wide range of mounting options.

Features a UV Treated 1680 ballistic polyester exterior with heavy-duty polyester thread at all joints and seams and PVC backed interior for increased water resistance. Double-thick exterior walls and lid construction with internal padding for protection and durability. Integrated nylon MOLLE strap system on perimeter panels and back for custom tie-down locations and multi-purpose mounting. One main compartment and two pockets with YKK zippers. Cast alloy zipper pulls with knotted rope extenders for easy operation with gloves. Wide sinch straps with heavy-duty Duraflex quick-release buckles help secure load after packing to reduce movement and rattling.

  • Integrated MOLLE system
  • YKK Zippers

just enough for some essentials
Purchased this for my HD Forty Eight. Holds just enough of the essentials: baseball cap, sunglasses, cell phone, water bottle, thin mid-layer, etc. And I like the look of this bag on the Forty Eight (see pictures). I will note that I used black zip-ties for the bottom attachment as the provided buckles were a bit challenging to work with due to the small diameter of the sissy bar. For me the zip-ties make it a better fitment.

Also experienced the usual rock solid customer service from Revzilla. Thanks!

Outstanding and Versatile
Seriously the most impressively versatile piece of luggage I've ever seen. Small footprint combined with myriad of mounting options makes this easy to strap on to virtually any part of the bike other than the engine or wheels without the use of mounting brackets, racks, or other such nonsense.

I prefer it as a tail bag, a solo bag, mounted to my luggage rack, or to the back of my sissy bar. I've replaced my saddle bags (which cost tons more, and needed extra mounting brackets to hold in place) with the EXFIL 7, and haven't looked back. I'll be getting more of these in the future to increase my storage options and space, while keeping my bike looking mean and slim.

Awesome fork bag
I mounted this on my 2014 Iron 883 front forks and it adds a certain awesomeness to my bike. It is fairly large and I have it loaded down with a lot of stuff to free up my tail bag. The MOLLE webbing is great and there are multiple options for alternate ways to mount it on any bike. I highly recommend this over a tradition leather bag.

big performance in a small package
This bag is great, holds a lot of gear for the size. Yet it does not have a huge foot print on the bike. I use it more like a solo bag and it does not interfere with passenger peg etc.

Mounts anywhere
There are about a million ways to mount this guy. The outside is cool and black, the inside is cool and orange. I left a book in the bag overnight and it rained, and the book was still dry the next day. So its atleast pretty waterproof. I like the cell phone top pouch too. I've mounted mine to my forks and to my swing arm, but for now I'll be keeping it mounted to my rear fender. Its cooler than a tank bag, in my opinion, and Im glad I bought it.

Great and versatile
Awesome bag. Super easy to put on or switch locations on the bike. I've ran it on my forks and sissy bar. Not waterproof. Big enough to fit 7 bear cans. If fit a fifth a couple pounders and a soda. Plenty of storage looks great. Very functional. If get it again in a heartbeat.

Best multi-purpose, multi-bike bag out there!
Love this bag! Plenty of space for a hoodie, travel mug, camera, whatever. Heavy cordura with overdone zippers. Molle on the top, front, sides. Easy to add additional small gear pouches. Mounted mine to the front of my ape handlebars. Smaller but more useful than a swing arm bag at a third the cost. Built by and for motorcyclists. You need this bag!

Great multi-purpose bag that can go anywhere
This bag can easily be attached anywhere you want! I have mine on the swingarm of my sporty but I've put it on my sissy bar, handle bars and forks with no problem. Can attach other stuff to it too given the MOLLE design of the bag.

Another quality product from Biltwell
Love this bag. Wide variety of attachment options. You can pack quite a bit of gear into it easily. I don't use saddlebags, and this does exactly what I need. Holds the daily necessities with ease. The large adjustment straps on the front of the bag are perfect for a rolled up hoodie or jacket.

i never leave home without it
This bag has so many uses. I use this on every bike I have from my triumph tiger to my shovelhead. It looks great on them all. It holds tools well or makes going to the store for late nights snacks easier. The ability to strap additional stuff to the outside is useful and the Orange interior offers great contrasts when your looking for stuff.

The reviews all noted it was a very well made and useful bag.

Biltwell says it holds 7 cans of liquid refreshment. How can you pass that up? And to carry other stuff too, I suppose.

Needed a cool small bag for daily rides to work. I didn't want another backpack or saddlebags. This seems like a great compromised.

I bought this for the tail rack on my bonneville. This bag is awesome. Buckles and clips on and is going nowhere. Not the largest bag but I leave it on the bike all the time. Happy to have it.

This bag will be used between my 71 Norton Commando and 80 Moto Morini 3 1/2. It will allow me to carry a fair amount of gear on each bike within a compact rugged bag.

Can this bag hold a spare visor?
A C on Jul 18, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Nope... it's just a bit too small to fit a visor
This bag looks great -- would anyone else have an idea of where this could be mounted on a suzuki gs500 other than the forks?
