I'll echo the positive comments I found virtually everywhere before deciding to purchase this helmet. The airflow is nothing short of superb- I literally wondered if I'd left my face shield up on my first ride. Likewise, the aerodynamics are incredible, no buffeting at ALL even when my head is turned completely sideways! I've read that the helmet is loud, but I would say it's really average in that department, maybe even a bit better than average. I can cope with noise with earplugs, so this helmet beat out the ShoeiQwest which was my original choice... quieter but without the superior ventilation. (I only gave 4 stars on 'bang for the buck' because the helmet is not cheap... but it is WORTH it!!!)

I wore Bell Star helmets back in the 70s and 80s, but have been wearing Arai lately. In my opinion this helmet is the same quality as Arai, but with a much easier to use shield attachment. I've only worn the helmet once, but it is extremely comfortable. If it continues to perform as it did initially, I may never go back to Arai again.

Helmet is great and looks even better. Shipping was fast. Bellstar comes in a nice bag. Only complaint was the clear shield fog treatment bubbled and looked like adhesive. Cleaning it removed the bubbled treatment and left a noticeable clear spot. RevZilla customer service was very helpful and offered to replace just shield instead of entire helmet. RevZilla Rocks!!

I have a slightly thinner longer face, trying many AGV's I really couldn't find anything that fit well. I will buy a set of bigger cheek pads later as it could fit a little more snug on my cheek bones.
Haven't come across anyone yet that doesn't like the design. lots of comments like "thats awsome" & "I think all this tribal shit looks grouse"

If you wear an Arai Medium, you might want to get a size small instead. Unless you like a wobbly helmet.
I thought these helmets were suppose to have a magnetic strap. Hence the 4 not 5.

Two thumbs up! In Rally Red, this helmet's appearance is absolutely stunning. Overall, the performance of this helmet is quite impressive. I believe that it compares very favorably to other premium helmets. It is very comfortable, light weight and vents a ton of air. Only downside is that wind noise is very noticeable at freeway speeds, probably due to the rear venting holes (ear plugs are advisable). I also have the optional photochromatic face shield, which works great. The sizing is spot-on, and a variety of cheek pads are available to fine-tune the fit. The helmet bag included with the helmet is also very nice.

Answer: 
I can tell for shore that the 2010 model they improve the fit of the helmet, if you have a 2009 like i do you probably when one size down like I did. Im normally a medium so i had to buy a small for my 09 Bell Star RSD (in most cases), so 2010 and up there now true sizes. Hope this help.
