Noisy, poor build quality Okay, this is definitely the noisiest helmet I've ever owned. I wear earplugs all the time and it's still unbearable. I've been spoiled by Shoei and in an attempt to save $450, I went this route. Besides the noise, the build quality is terrible, even for a low cost helmet. Mine had a screw for the front chin guard that was stripped. It was easier for me to just replace it. Airflow? There isn't any. The riding season is rapidly coming to a close in Utah, so I'll be saving over the winter for a new Shoei. When it comes to helmets, you definitely get what you pay for. October 3, 2014
Best modular helmet you can buy The revolver evo surprised me it's amazing. The revolver evo is one of the quieter less expensive modular helmets. I think I got the most bang for my hard earned money and I am completely satisfied in my purchase. September 29, 2014
Excellent helmet Construction and quality seem excellent. Nice strap latch, with a magnetic end makes it very easy to strap on. I wish the flip-down sunglasses (a great idea!) were darker, esp. since they are so easy to use (and "un-use"). Also, helmet does not fit in the front storage compartment of a Honda NC700x - fyi. Aside from those two minor nits, I am thoroughly pleased with this helmet. Great product. Looks great in the silver pattern too. September 17, 2014
Sun shield This is a wonderful helmet: -Very comfortable. -Very light weight. -Cheap modular. -Very cool styling. -Adj. air vents. -Lever/spring sun shield mechanism. Things that need to be improved: -Stock sun shield is useless so I bought a darker one. Installation was difficult and ended up breaking my spring mechanism that snaps the sun shield up. (Have to lift it now) -Pretty loud at higher speeds. I recommend nice headphones or earbuds if you're going over ~50mph. September 1, 2014
Seemed like a great helmet but.... I had to return it because the buttons for the drop down sun-shield interfered with the mounting of our intercom headset. This helmet was to replace a Bell Mag-9 for my wife. She feels safer wearing a helmet with a chin-bar. September 27, 2014
Good Overall The helmet is comfortable once the padding starts getting broken in and the flip-up feature is very nice, especially on hot days or to try to talk to someone. My only significant complaint is that the extra sunshade that slides down doesn't have anti-fog, so if the main visor is also down, the sun visor fogs up immediately. Overall, though, nice helmet at what felt like a reasonable price. September 16, 2014
Bang for your buck! This helmet is great! It fits like it should and is very comfortable. Pros: Fits like the sizing chart says, amazing price for what you're getting, does what it's supposed to and looks great while doing it. Cons: The tint on the sun shield isn't quite dark enough for me, the sun shield has a tendency to fog much easier than the face shield, it doesn't have space for any communication devices (not a con for me but may be for some). Over all for the price the helmet is stellar. The sun shield is the only area where I'd prefer a few changes. September 15, 2014
Solid helmet at a great price point This is the first helmet I've bought as a new rider. I was sold on the looks right from the beginning. No reservations in the quality knowing that Bell has been in the helmet game for a long time. Absolutely amazed at the speed from time of order to delivery. Nicely packaged and it was exactly what I expected. I couldn't be happier with my helmet and Revzilla. I will order from this site again without a doubt. September 8, 2014

Jon D: Good features for the price Jul 15, 2014
KENNETH M: the comfort in relation to ears Jul 13, 2014
Rannie L: Aesthetics are very important for me. Soo important that I'm willing to sacrifice some protection (Hi-Viz) for a design that suits my taste. In my opinion, this is one of the coolest helmet graphic on a modular to date. Plus this modular helmet has some pretty good bang for the buck. Jul 7, 2014
J I: this will be my first modular helmet. the internal sun visor, positive lock chin bar and overall design of this helmet appealed to me. Jun 14, 2014

A shopper asked: If you are wearing sunglasses, can you still lower the internal sun-shade w/o hitting the sunglasses? Sep 27, 2013

Peter F: I wear glasses and have no problem with the internal sunshade. I buy the modulars because of the glasses. The only thing that bugs me a bit is when I raise or lower the entire front piece to wear or remove the helmet the under chin curtain rubs my face. But if I flatten it with my thumb it's ok. I do like it. Sep 27, 2013

Juan L: Yes you can still wear glasses underneath the helmet and lower the internal visor without any obstructions. One thing to note is that the helmet is tight regarding its size so if you have a round built face then you need a bigger helmet than what you would normally wear. I can still manage to insert my sunshades after I have the helmet on my head but there is a bit of a struggle. I normally wear a medium size helmet, but I should have bought a large and the fit would have been perfect. Sep 27, 2013

Shawn S: You might be able to lower the internal sun-shade while wearing sunglasses. I have not tried to wear sunglasses with this helmet.
Living in Arizona where there is a lot of sun - most of the time the built-in sun-shade works good enough on its own.

Joshua C: I doubt it, I couldn't possibly wear my Oakley Radarlocks and put down the internal visor as it sits so close to your face. I did add the Transistions shield and it helped a lot. Sep 27, 2013

A shopper asked: My head size is exactly 56 centimeters and my face is oval. Would you recommend buying the SM size helmet (As the Medium is out of stock)? Aug 28, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
kevin p: In all honesty this thing runs pretty small. You could fit your head in a small, but your forehead will be killing you on long rides. The cushion will be good for about a week or 2 and then, it goes flat. Also I've battle tested it! (Much to my dismay) low sided a couple weeks ago, the helmet held up wonderfully. My bike... not so much. Also keep in mind this is for really round heads. Aug 30, 2014

Chad S: I wouldn't. My head size is 22 Inches which would put me at the top of a size small.

Medium is 22.5 - 22.75 and is pretty tight. These Evo's probably tend to run tight. The Medium Bell Evo I have is a tight fit where as the Bell Shorty I have in medium is a little loose and I have to cinch it down a bit.

Peter F: From looking at the charts your head size of 56 centimeters is just .1 cm bigger than the max for the small. But the minimum for the medium size is 57.2 cm. That is 1.2 cm "big". Although a small might be on the tight side you don't want it loose either. Besides these guys have a very good return policy. Aug 28, 2014

Brittany O: I'm not sure what the size chart says, but I would go with whatever the chart says. The sizes match up pretty perfect, otherwise you might end up with a helmet that doesn't fit. Aug 28, 2014

A shopper asked: My head size is exactly 56 centimeters, and my face shape is oval. I saw that the Medium size is out of stock. Would you recommend buying the SM size? Aug 28, 2014

Steve M: This helmet is round I also have an oval head and this helmet was very uncomfortable. There was a lot of pressure on my forehead. After riding with I'd have a headache Sep 19, 2014
Reply to Steve Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
Calyes K: It would mean that the pads would be tighter. If you are ok with that, I think you would be ok. In my opinion, I'd rather the fit be tight than loose. Sep 18, 2014
