Bell Bullitt Bubble Face Shield
Right amount of tint
Mine white/red Bullitt came with the clear bubble shield. The smoke tinted one definitely makes it look a lot cooler. It's dark enough to reduce direct sun glare, even if you're not wearing sunglasses, but not so dark that you can't wear sunglasses. But still, you can't use it after the sun goes down. Both shields are also fine with polarized sunglasses - no moiré or psychedelic oil slicks.
I only wish Bell would've used some sort of quick release so shields could be replaced more easily. The 2 screws aren't bad, but allows one to cross-thread and permanently mess it up. And it isn't clear which way the large washer/grommet thing goes if you didn't notice when you removed it the first time, or why it can go on either way.

great style and wide field of vision
The bubble shield completes the Bell Bullitt for that vintage style.
Noise level is greatly reduced, a huge field of vision and sense of comfort..
get all colors for all conditions..

Since I bought the Bullit helmet a year or so ago I've never been able to raise the visor at all past 45 mph since at that speed it creates a wind noise that is unbearably annoying. With this new bubble shield all of the wind noise is gone. Well worth the money, but there shouldn't be that much noise to begin with.

Great retro helmet shield
I have the Bell Bullitt helmet which came stock with a clear flat face shield. I really prefer the bubble shield for the look, the "face space" it provides, and the fact that it fogs far less than the flat stock shield. The field of vision is fabulous (partly the helmet design and not just the shield) and it feels much like wearing an open face but with more protection from both the shield and the chin bar. I also like the color options on the bubble shield. I have two--the clear and the amber gradient. Also, it's quite easy to put on and take off the shield. I just use a dime w/a thin glasses cleaning cloth over it so the screw doesn't get scratched.

A great addition.
Since putting this on the helmet I haven't looked back. There have been comments that the flat shield lets air in on certain angles but I haven't experienced this with the bubble. I have used the black shield up until late afternoon but I haven't tried it at night yet. If it did cause a problem it is really easily removed or just sits up with no dramas. The little scratches from moving the shield around are still caused by the bubble, but they are really hard to notice and you have to catch the light just right to see them. I would recommend getting a shield for your Bullitt.

Awesome visor and the yellow tint gives it great visibility along with a vintage style. Wish it had some sort of anti fog tint though for how much it costs because it fogs VERY easy along the bottom part

Gold Iridium shield is strictly for sunny days
I love the look of the gold iridium (which is what I got to replace my stock clear shield) but I was hoping this would work in all/most lighting conditions but it's only good for bright sunny days. In low light (dawn/dusk) conditions it's just too dark and at night it's just plain dangerous. I was hoping it would be like my chrome/mirrored shield that I have with my Biltwell Bonanza helmet, which works in all lighting, but sadly it wasn't.

looks great on this helmet
only complaint is that it creates a lot of drag when you turn your head to the side
