1) you need to be able to turn head HARD to see to change lanes (visor opening a tad too narrow)
2) FOG is too hard to keep off of the visor. Is there a trick besides riding with visor open?

This is a great helmet for $100. Could use a chin curtain! I wear a X-large in my other helmets but a Large in this one.

The break in time on this helmet felt like about 2 hours. My head is between round to narrow, normally I wear a Large, and in this helmet I wear a Medium. It fits perfect! I received this helmet this week and got to test it our today in 40 degree weather. The first thing that I noticed is the helmet looks larger that what I am used to. However, it doesn't feel heavy. I had a lot of wind coming up thru the bottom of the helmet. It is in definate need of a chin cover in cold weather. That would be the one thing that Bell could add to help with this helmet. There was a fair amount of noise from the wind, but I ride in earplugs, and plan to add a SENA Bluetooth, so that shouldn't be an issue. Vision is great and I added the dark smoke shield to the the Air Raid and it looks great. The dark smoke is not the best for night riding though. Thanks RevZilla for a great value priced helmet.

I wear a large in the Shoei RF1100 and a extra large with the Akuma Ghost Rider helmet. I ordered a medium with the Bell Arrow and I could have possibly fit in a small. Very bizzare sizing by Bell. Otherwise a nice helmet for sub 100 dollars.

This helmet is DOT certified. I don't know about all the ones sold on RevZilla, but you could always go the manufacturer's web site on any helmet if you have a question. I am saying that the Shakki Icon Alliance helmet is DOT certified. Buy it, it's beautiful!

Answer: 
Simply flip the faceshield up and operate the release lever on both sides. Put the new faceshield in place and operate the release lever again to allow the shield to seat into the baseplate. If you have any trouble, feel free to give us a call at 877-792-9455.
