Jonathan H: First Helmet. Got it before I learned how to ride. Looking back I'd invest in a helmet with Pinlock.Apr 11, 2014
LENIN MIGUEL O: It´s a very nice model and bell helmets are dependableJan 13, 2014
CARLOS Z: The helmet is not heavy but its not light either, so no complaints there. Im still breaking it in, so it fits a bit more snug than i prefer, but im happy with it because it doesnt fog up when i breathe when the face shield in in full close mode. I have a comfort problem, and the previous helmets ive tried on were not up to par with this one. Overall very satisfied with this purchase, i feel comfortable and most importantly i feel safe riding when i have this baby on.Jan 12, 2014
Greg M: I've had Bell helmets since I was 5 on my first dirtbike - many crashes later and still here to brag about it - cracked helmets and all!!!! Enuff saidNov 24, 2013
Michael T: Initially I purchased the helmet based on price and the manufacturer. I am very pleased with the purchase, the helmet fits very well and is very comfortable and I liked the way the helmet looks.Nov 20, 2013

Karol B: A combination of low price and good reviews. My first motorcycle helmet :)Aug 28, 2013
A S asked:I'm at one click of buying the Bell Arrow and find this very usefull reviews. But I'm confused, because my head size is in the middle, between Small and Medium (56,5 cm). So I don't know what size to buy! Maybe somebody was in the same situation? Thanks!Dec 4, 2013
David D:Things to consider padding will get broken in and thus a Med could become to loose for you or a S might be too tight even after the padding breaks in.
My head is about 56 cm and I got a Med Bell Star different from this one (after 2 years it fits nicely) Mine is tight but not so tight it hurts... I simply put it on and fell asleep with it on... haha...
Sorry for being vague... you just gotta try it on to know for sure.
At this stage, you could go to a local shop to try on a S and Med. Then come back and order it here at Rzilla and note they do have an excellent return/exchange policy if you get the wrong size.Dec 9, 2013
Keith S:Just a thought, but given the fit of the Arrow on me, I would probably order the smaller, keeping in mind that Revzilla has a pain free return policy. I have had need to return a helmet that I ordered for my wife and the process was very easy, so if the new Arrow is too small, you can send it back pretty easy.Dec 9, 2013
jill e:I bought this helmet as a passenger helmet so I'm not positive, but i would say go small. I was between sizes in the Rs1 and the Star. I ordered the smaller size and both fit perfect. If it doesn't fit Revzilla makes returning and exchanging super easy so if its to small it won't be a big deal at all.Dec 9, 2013
machwon:If you're referring to that exact type of shield, I've never actually seen one for sale that has that matte black look - I think that's only for pictures. RevZilla sells a 'dark smoke' sheild that's probably close. See the related link.
I've used dark smoke ones before - they look cool and you can't generally see into the helmet from the outside, which I like. Just be aware that you can't ride with them at night - they're too dark, illegal in some jurisdictions. You'll need to ride with it open with glasses or carry a clear shield for night time. If you want a one-solution shield, check out the SolFX Photochromic shield.Apr 1, 2013
machwon:I believe all the Monaco helmets come with the SolFX shield, which darkens in the sunlight. In my totally unscientific tests it gets pretty dark when viewed from the outside (on a sunny day). At night or on cloudy days it'll be clear or mostly clear.Apr 1, 2013
