Chris L: Wanted to be able to map for different temperatures and elevations without going to dyno tuner every time.Dec 31, 2014
Kris C: I have used the bazzaz products before on my 09 hayabusa and they have worked great.Jul 29, 2014
Anthony V: I choose the afm unit because it helps you get the full potential out of your bazzaz ecu with easy to use tuning program free from the websiteDec 8, 2013
Kenneth G: to couple with the bazzaz z-fi unit so I can create my own fuel maps and customize my bike on yet another levelSep 26, 2013
A S asked:Do you have to purchase a new exhaust/weld in a new o2 bung or can you get away with screwing it into the factory o2 location and use an o2 delete to prevent the bike from thinking there is a problem?Apr 30, 2015
ISAAC R:I have it installed on 2 bikes and run a Yoshi and a MGP exhaust. The exhaust came with O2 bungs but they are 12mm not 18mm which are required for ZAFM. So yes, you most likely have to weld in new bungs unless your lucky. Look for 18mm x 1.5 bungs on eBay, they are much cheaper. The ZAFM hooks up to the ZFi module, from there with the software you can turn it on or off. FYI the unit retrieves info during riding/dyno then with the program you need to retrieve it and install it to your existing map. It does not adjust your map automatically as your riding. Hannah T:I have this product installed on my 2005 zx-6r 636 it has to be used with a bazazz zfi or the zfi tc as it hooks up to that its more of a data logger as it doesn't make the changes for you it recommends changes based on the logged data and your selected afr Sep 25, 2013
Dustin S:As far as I know it has to be used with the Z-FI which acts as a interface and is the only part that plugs into a computer to use the z mapper software. The Z-AFM doesn't have a USB port of it's own.Sep 26, 2013

Brian Drucker - Riva M:Depending on the bike... It's most likely that if the bike has o2 sensor then canceling it will make the ECU to send you error code to the dashboard, meaning that you will to add o2 bung somewhere on the headers after all pipes torn in to one. But if you chose to cancel it and instal the Bazzaz auto fuel mapper instead it's ok because they do the same job... once you have the Bazzaz unit install you don't really need the other one, all the fuel management is going through the bazzaz unit anyway. but you'll have to live with the annoying light in the dashboardMay 1, 2015
