It does what it should do Don't run away because of the price it's not cheap at all. It's freaking great .. One bike one charger all you need it works great July 14, 2015
Small, simple, just buy it. Doesn't look like much but comes with cables to hook up to your current system, cables to hook straight to battery (like jumper cables), and cables for installing a new quick connect to your new bike. First time bike owner and not sure why I'd need anything else. June 5, 2015
Works exactly as described. This charger does what it promises. I don't know what's "junior" about it. When I return from a ride I plug it in. When I want to go I disconnect. April 20, 2015
Very good product Good way to protect your battery long term. A small easy to use charger. Just plug into an outlet and connect to the bike. The battery tender does the rest by automatically switching between charging and monitoring modes. And it comes with everything you'll need including aligator clips to use on multiple batteries or an SAE connector to leave attached to the battery itself. The SAE connector also makes it easy to connect your electrical devices (cell phones, GPS, etc.). March 23, 2015
great product Hooked up with the quick connect right to my 2014 Lowrider. Works like a champ, never a low battery. March 10, 2015
A friend recommended it I own a BMW K1200RS and it is prewired with a pigtail for a battery tender. The JR HE works without any issues so far. December 8, 2014
Great little package I'd been looking for a battery tender and decided to go with this one due to the amount of good reviews. Don't have anything to compare it to but I was not disappointed, it's fairly compact, has an LED with blinking modes to indicate status of the battery and comes with alligator clips and a quick disconnect plug (I use the alligator clips on a couple project bikes since they're easy to swap and the quick disconnect on my commuter). No issues, seems to be working great, the power cord is also a decent length. November 26, 2014

A shopper asked: What does the 80 hour safety timer do ? From what I can tell this is the only difference between this model and the regular battery tender junior but you pay more to get it - Nov 15, 2014

Fernando P: Simply put. Safety feature. Do you need it ? probably Not. But if you live in California , It's mandated . We here in CA apparently need all the help we can get. Don't live in CA . Buy the reg and save some $$ . I do recommend the Junior HD , works great, simple and efficient Nov 17, 2014

Gary P: The safety timer prevents marginal batteries from overheating if after 80 hours they have still not reached a full charge. Any good battery should reach full capacity and stop drawing any more power long before the 80 hour timer. Nov 15, 2014

A shopper asked: Anyone used this on an R12GSA or similar bike? The manual says battery must be removed for charging. Is it really necessary to do that? I found it was not, with my Honda Shadow. May 26, 2014

Mark S: I have an R1200GS, and the battery was prewired in place with a pigtail for a battery tender. I have been using the JR HE without any issues. Perhaps it is because the charging rate of the JR at 750mamps is well below the maximum of 2amps for the gel-type battery in the GS. May 27, 2014
