A shopper asked:I own a iron 883 2014 model. I have arlen ness big sucker stage 2 air cleaner with me which I'll install after I install aftermarket pipes. I really like the bassani radial sweepers - but I want to know if there are any tuners with presets available for this set of exhausts. Can anyone guide me here please?Dec 1, 2014
M A:I'm having a really hard time finding a tuner with a canned map for that particular set up. It looks like the fp3 has an autotune feature that will get it really close, but i can't find any reviews that guarantee it.
I have the same bike with the same pipes and I am interested in getting the stage 1 big sucker, so if anyone knows for sure then it would help us both.
I wanted to buy a Vance and hines or bassani exhaust for my 2014 Harley 48 and on your site it says it is compatible but when I was at the Harley dealership all the workers in the parts department said that those exhaust don't fit 2014 models of the 48 because of the catalytic converter? Could you please clarify, any assistance would be greatly appreciated.Sep 19, 2014
Tommy D:I owned a 2014 883n and installed the Bassani system on it myself then had the dealer remap the ignition system at the 1,000 mile service . I had no problems and they mentioned no problems concerning the mod . I would guess other than the obvious that there is no difference with your "48" . It may be in relation to your states emission laws rather than any real fitment problem . My only complaint is that it does away with stock passenger pegs . I have since traded the bike on a FXDB (which I installed V.H. units on with no con verters either) . I think the will work . Those radically improve the look and sound of a Sportster I don't think you'll regret buying them .Sep 19, 2014
