Maximum wind and rain protection for street and adventure-touring bikes!
Storm handguards have an aerodynamic design and a larger profile that wraps around the hands to offer excellent wind and weather protection. The wide profile is great for street riding and open trails. Storm Full-Wrap Backbone with two mounting points, this is the strongest backbone available, and is recommended for dual-sport and adventure touring bikes.
Barkbusters handguards were first manufactured in 1984 and now have over 28 years of motorcycle industry experience and riding enthusiasm. That history means Barkbusters has what it takes to produce the finest handguards available on the market today. In the unlikely event that you break a part of the handguard, every piece is replaceable.

Easy install, Great protection
First, great service from Revzilla. The Bark buster install had easy to follow instructions and the complete process for both sides took about 30 min. As far as being rugged, they appear very much that way. I have yet to club any trees with them but they have done a great job of protecting my hands when riding thru some light brush and small limbs. Over all they've been great so far.

Protects hands from wind better than I thought they would
I installed these handguards on a 2013 & 2014 BMW F700GS.
The installation was straight forward the pictures did help as there is a difference in the mount that goes on the bar, left side vs right side. Overall fit and finish was typical Barkbuster quality. Would definitely buy these for my other bikes.

Good product and very quick service
Bought the Barkbusters Storm hand guards for my new F700GS and have been very pleased with them. Was quite straight forward to install and they seem pretty robust. Could do with some more wind protection where thumbs make contact with hand grips, other that that, they are very good.

Easy to install, well made
I purchased these Barkbusters Storm handguards to replace OEM handguards on my 2013 F700GS as I wanted to install a throttle lock and was unable to find a manufacturer that had an application for this bike with the OE handguards. I am using a Throttlemeister throttle lock with this Barkbusters system.
My only suggestion to Barkbusters is that the aluminum pieces to which the plastic handguards are attached be better finished.

Arsenio G: I have damaged hand guards on my bike, I want to protect levers on a crash, specially the clutchApr 17, 2014
Michael L: I could not find a manufacturer who offers throttle locks for the 2013 BMW F700GS or 2013 BMW F800GS fitted with OE handguards. With these aftermarket guards from Barkbusters I should be able to fit throttle locks from Throttlemaster, Wunderlich, etc. We'll see.Feb 11, 2014
Robin S: Needed the protection on my new BMWJan 13, 2014
A shopper asked:I've been reading on forums that when using bark busters with an aftermarket screen that most people have had to modify the screen (by cutting some more out of it) so that the handlebars/barkbusters don't hit the screen. Have you heard of this? I'm going to put a Givi Screen D333kit on my F700gs and would like to know if i will have to modify it. Thanks CathyDec 12, 2013
David P:I did not have that problem with the OEM screen in my Triumph Tiger Explorer, but that would be a screen specific issue for any bike. Hopefully, someone with the same Givi screen on a F700GS can answer your questions definitively.Jan 31, 2014
