Better than OEM in price & protection!
Easy to install.Looks like they will offer greater protection in case of tip over or crash. Also work great at keeping cool morning air,on hands at bay.

great replacement for the cheesy stock plastic handguards on a Triumph 800 xc
These are very well made and do their job, two weeks after installing these I dropped my 800 XC in the garage while working on it during a DOH! senior moment, we all have these, just admit it, No damage to any of the levers and you can't even tell I dropped it. I have been enjoying the better coverage the plastic offers from wind compared to the stock plastic guards. I have no doubt these will protect my levers from damage if I have issues on any offroad excursions.
The fit and installation was a snap, seriously, it took maybe a half an hour to install and that was with a beer break and going super SLOW.

They do the job!
Great at keeping the wind off my hands, wore summer gloves on a cold-for-Florida morning and the Barkbusters worked well. I also have a Madstad screen, the sides of the screen and the bark busters just touch on full-lock, so I have added some small rubber pads so the screen doesn't dent the bark busters.
The bark busters should be great for protecting the levers etc. should I drop the bike. A great Aussie product!

Made for the Bike
As the weather begins to cool down, these hand guards do wonders for keeping the bark of the cold off your hands. Installed them on my Triumph Tiger Explorer in about half an hour using simple tools (most of which I got from the OEM tool kit!). The metal bars are really where your money goes as they are sturdy and will likely take a fall well, protecting the brake/clutch levers. The color of the metal matches pretty well with the original handlebar making them look the part. The black guards are mostly there for the wind protection and protect they do but can't say I won't have to replace them after a hard fall. Probably will stand up to loose gravel, though.
Can't comment on how much better they are then the handguards from triumph as I have never seen them side by side, but rest assured there is a forum topic out there about the subject I am sure.

Great for keeping the cold off your hands
I live in the NW where it rains and gets down right cold. This storm guards have helped keep my hand warm during the cold weather as well as deflect rain away from my hands. This is a great product and has helped my riding experience become more comfortable.

Very sturdy and huge upgrade from OEM guards.
Easy install and they seem like they'll provide much better protection on the trail. Wind protection is about the same as the OEM guards, but these definitely seem much beefier than Triumph's.
