Robust and bombproof, but be careful mounting them!
I went from the VPS handguards to the Storm handguards for the winter months, primarily for rain protection.
The guards are well-made, give excellent coverage, and attach to existing Barkbusters aluminum guard bars, although one does have to remove the side skid protectors.
So far, they've functioned perfectly.
One note: be careful mounting the inner ABS bracket over the guard bar. The installation is fiddly. I recommend taping the bracket into position on the guard bar and then using two hands to install the screws.

Decent protection from wind / branches
These do a great job of blocking the wind on cold mornings. Also hold up well to wayward debris/branches, and are designed to break away on two replaceable clips so that the actual guard can be reused.

These fit my already installed Barkbuster handguards perfectly. They give me more of a wind break than the small ones previously installed, which helps in Idaho's cooler weather in the spring and fall.

B A: Bought a bike with the VPS guards, but they don't offer enough wind protection. These look like the will do the job nicely, also doesn't have the cable routing notches that I'm not even using on the VPS.Nov 13, 2014
A shopper asked:How do these attach? I have a Suzuki TU 250 which is a basic bike and I'd like to know what I can expect trying to fit theseNov 3, 2014
Gary S:A couple screws and a plastic tab attach the deflectors to a wrap-around aluminum bark buster handguard mount. The aluminum guards are not included. Other wrap around mounts may work, but you need to have mounts already in order to install these.Nov 3, 2014
