AXO fuses safety and style with the Striker 9to5 shoe. Built for maximum comfort on and off the bike, the Striker 9to5 utilizes an innovative BOA® Closure System instead of the bulky buckles and dangerous laces found on other riding shoes. Featuring a ratcheting spool and stainless steel laces, BOA® Technology allows you to find the perfect fit and fine tune it any time you need with a twist of the easy to turn ratchet. And when the ride is over, the AXO Striker 9to5 is just as easy to take off with an amazingly simple quick release opening system. New to the Striker family is the Vibram® sole made of motorcycle specific rubber compound.
Constructed of abrasion resistant PU coated Action Leather
Equipped for the ride with ergonomic ankle protection
I love the fit and appearance. Also the ratcheting cable provides the perfect tightness every time.

Comfortable casual riding shoe.
I have ridden a few hundred miles in these boots and I really like them. I really like the BOA closure system. Easy to use and no stuck zippers.
They are light and comfortable both on and off the bike. They are true to size. No they are not as protective of a high end motorcycle boot - but they do not pretend to be. Also, they do not claim they are waterproof, but a gusset behind the BOA system would be an improvement. There is only a flap of material that would allow more water into the boot.

Great every day use
Great boot for everyday use, they are slightly big, but there is no way you can go half size down, they should be perfect. After a couple day use, you can feel them as an every day shoe, the boa closure is a great feature, it should be on every shoe!

Just what I was looking for!
Love the BOA lacing system, these are the easiest boots I've ever owned for getting in and out of them. Also, the wide toe box was welcome. I've had to send too many boots back because they pinched my toes. A word about fit - I normally wear US size 9.5, I initially went with the Euro 44 and wound up with the 43, which fits perfectly.

great shoe for short trips
This is not the shoe if you want serious protection or with any technical features. If you just want to hop on the bike and run an errand or a short jaunt and just want something to wear with your jeans..this might be the shoe. I wear a 9.5...the size 44 works for me. Good toe box room. What attracted me to this shoe is the simple style and the BOA closure system. The wires seem thin but has held up so far. I don't feel like the sole is thick enough...wish it were more beefy. Overall satisfied with the shoe...serving its purpose as a light and easy going shoe.

Worth a look
Hi, I have used these for several months and find them very good. The locking mechanism is great and the shoe is very comfortable to walk in. No complaints

Jordan L: Style and ease of use. I would not recommend for a sportbike as the sole is too flexible and the peg starts to hurt your foot after 20min.Aug 27, 2013
A shopper asked:I have this shoe and I typically do a 200-250mile canyon run every weekend. The sole is so thin my feet are killing me after as you can feel the foot peg being driven up into your foot when it comes time to get to work. When just commuting I could see this as being a very comfortable shoe as long as you are not on a sport bike. My question is this: how does this shoe rank on the revzilla stiffness scale? Trying to use that as a guide as I am hoping to avoid going to a full race/track style boot.Aug 25, 2013
Michael T:I had a pair of the original axo boa strikers they were the best short shoe I had just about perfect. I was bummed when after 2 years of cconstant use many miles the boa strap broke. I wanted another pair but that don't make them anymore. I Saw these had replaced them so I ordered them they are not 1/3 of the original soft very little protection and the boa system let .go 3 Times in 5 tripI i just sent them back today. I will buy something else. I ride a speed triple a z1000 and a 636 on the streetI also ride enduro crf 250 so gear safety is a big deal with me and I did not feel safe with this shoe. They might work for you but they did not work for me hope this helps good luck.

Thanks for the reply. I ended up with the Joe Rocket V2X shoes for my more casual riding. The sole is very stiff and they feel great. They were half the cost of the Sidi Apex boots so it's hard to argue the value. Still might get a pair of the Apex boots.
Ride safe! You have an amazing garage.
