Years of experience on the Lancer boots have been put into the development of the Aragon boot. Tested at over 180 mph (300 km/h) in the most famous race circuit, the Aragon boot is what you need to stay comfortable, yet safe, at high speed.
This is the only road racing boot in the world with no zipper, no buckles and only one steel lace. The zip-less closure system is replaced by a patented micrometric BOA Closure System.
High performance road racing boot equipped with lateral/back anti- torsion brace system
Microfiber upper with front and back anti abrasion inserts
Polyurethane shin, calf and heel guard with metal anti-shock heel insert
Removable and interchangeable plastic shin and toe slider
I have these for racing. I've owned and worn other boots on the track astars, sidi, puma. I found these boots upon recommendation from a friend who had them. I was complaining about how uncomfortable my other boots were to wear and how much of a pain they were to break in and get into and out of. Knowing AXO has been making motorcross gear for ever was cool, but I was a little hesitant as I didn't know how their development would be for a race boot. Luckily my friend had the same size boot and I tried his on. I immediately bought a set on the spot.
These boots are amazingly comfortable. And they feel broken in new out of the box. Other boots would have taken all season to break in. So saving myself a season of miserable discomfort was worth the price alone. Also, these are the easiest boots to put on and take off that I have ever worn. It's about like sliding into tennis shoes. You can have them on or off in no time at all. The boa lace system is fast and fool proof and it secures very nicely all around your foot.
They seem very well constructed, and have ample protection built into them. The soles of the boots are also very nice and offer good grip.
One thing I would like to mention: when you look at the picture of these on the revzilla website they kind of look like funky combat boots, but I can attest that in person they look much much better than the pictures portray. I have no picks about this boot at all. I think they are a great deal for the price and would definitely recommend them to anyone in the market for a comfortable, well protected race boot.

Perfect for the track
The feel great, as well as look good too. I bought these boots specifically for the track. And so far, they held up well. The boa tightening device is an awesome feature. No longer does it take 5 minutes to loosen all of the straps and strings to get the boots off. Just pull out the knob, undue the velcro and done!
I have gone down in them, and hopefully never will. But my feet, ankles, and shins feel very protected. There is enough room to flex with enough rigidity to keep your feet and ankles stable.
My only issue is with the sizing. I wish 9.5 size was available. Half sizes stop after 8, I believe. So the boots do not fit as well as I would like, which takes away some of the feel when shifting. After a couple of sessions, I got used to it. But it's still not ideal.
And the price is amazing for this boot. For that alone, I would recommend it.

Mark M:I purchased these boots because I have wide feet and these boots fit well. They were very comfortable right out of the box and the lacing system gives infinite comfort settings whether walking or riding. I've worn the boots all day at track days and they felt comfortable and cool even on the hot tarmac. They feel solid and highly supportive yet allow you to move freely when they are tightened up for riding. I would recommend these boots to anyone. Jan 2, 2015
A shopper asked:How tall are the boots from the heel of the footbed to the top of the boot (preferably to the back side of the top, if that makes sense)? I have obnoxiously long legs so when I'm sitting on the bike properly my suit legs are on the verge of peaking over the top of the boots.Nov 24, 2014
Ian M:Hi I measure 12 3/4 inches or 32.5 cm. from the heel to the top of the back of the boot outside. 11 3/4 inches 30 cm inside. I don't know what size you wear but they may get taller proportionally the bigger the size. I wear a size ten. I hope this of some help. Good Luck.Nov 30, 2014
Victor S asked:I have one more question: I wear a size 10 Cortech Latigo RR, but with the Aragon being on closeout, the closest size available is 10.5. Does anyone have a similar foot size? How is the sizing on the Aragon?Nov 29, 2014
ANDRE L:The sizing I spot on. Just be weary of getting a larger size. I wear a 9.5 but got a 10 since AXO didn't carry that size. Bad move... I lost a lot of feeling, especially when shifting. At the track, I had a lot of mis-shifts because of the boots. If it weren't for the sizing, I would absolutely love the boots. For the street I would still get them despite the sizing. For the track, get the size that truly fits.Nov 30, 2014
