Arai VX Pro-3 Warfare Helmet
fell down with my old arai and got knocked out. broke 4 ribs. sprained ankle. no doubt the arai protected me. sooooo had to buy a new arai because of the noggin smashin'. no doubt the new one will do just as good a job of protecting me in my frequent trips to the ground!

I have had Shoei and Arai helmets. The Arai is much more comfortable.

*Note: Have not ridden in this domepiece yet, as it is still snowy on the roads*
I got this helmet on sale and I wasn't all that keen on the graphics, even though it was a pretty awesome match to my bike's graphics. The paint quality is outstanding and looks 100X better than the picture online, it looks way hot with all the flakes in it! Figured why not get it, as it was cheaper than a shoei vfx-w with graphics, and this one seems like it would be a lot better at speed (supermoto duty) due to the rounder head (look at how aggressive the shoei is, and you will see why the wind wants to rip your head off at speed) and shorter face/chin guard. The amount of air intakes is pretty impressive and additional venting of my dome-a-tron is the reason why I needed something to replace my Arai RX-Q.
My only gripes with the helmet are that the face/chin protector part of the shell is closer to your face, so my 100% Racecraft (goggles) barely fit with the rubber roost/breath guard barely lets my goggles fit in there with the rubber guard in place. The nose guard which attaches to the goggles will not work with this helmet. The other problem I have is that the two removable air cowls on the upper back portion of the helmet move rather easily, and even a slight spill on the dirt would probably cost me a new set, because they swivel rather easily. Probably won't be an issue except for when I carry my helmet when I am inside a store and I will probably lose one somehow.
check the picture to see how the helmet looks with 100% racecrafts and a contour camera on it

I use an Arai Quantum II (XL) on the road and this helmet fit is a bit wider and a bit shorter, lengthwise. This helmet also fits similarly to my HJC off road helmet.
Very good cheek pieces on this helmet.

I purchased this helmet after recently being in a street bike accident where afterwards I upgraded to an Arai RX-Q. I love that helmet for it's fit, airlfow and style. I figured this off-road Arai could be the same and it is. It's expensive, no doubt, but have a a good accident and suddenly money for good gear is frivolous.

I have seen a life saved by an Arai helmet, that's all I will wear.
