Arai Signet-Q Target Helmet
The only helmet you'll ever want to wear if you have a long oval head!
This is my second Arai Signet -Q helmet. I'll never go back to any other make.
Why buy an Arai rather than a less expensive helmet? Both will protect your head. The difference is quality of workmanship, weight, venting, noise, features and accessories, plus overall fit and comfort. The Arai is also Snell rated, if that matters to you.
Most importantly, if you have a long (front-to-back) and narrow (side-to-side) head like mine, there really is no better fitting, more comfortable helmet than the Arai Signet-Q. Period.
I wear my helmet for 2 hours for five days each week (1 hour each way on my commute). I also wore this helmet for up to eight hours a day on an extended touring trip. This is when weight, noise levels, venting, fit, and comfort really matter. The venting works very well, and the helmet is incredibly comfortable. The liner can be removed for washing. This helmet is well worth the price.
I have the Hi-Viz Yellow, to increase my visibility in traffic. The Arai Hi-Viz Signet-Q is a beautiful piece of work with the black contrasting vents. I also added yellow highly reflective stickers found at most bicycle shops, which are invisible in the daytime but very attention getting after dark.
I also use the (absolutely unfoggable!) yellow pinlock insert (which increases contrast) and the Arai Pro Shade System, both of which I highly recommend.
It was with great fear and trepidation that I trusted the size chart and purchased a size large rather than an extra large. It fits wonderfully. Measure your head and trust the size chart.

Only brand that fits well
This is the second one of these helmets I've purchased. I have a long head front to back, and the extra length of this helmet is the only thing out there that I can wear without creating pressure points on the top of my forehead. Changing out visors is a bit trickier than other brands, and it is one of the more expensive helmets out there, but worth it for the fit. Would definitely recommend this product if you've been having problems with a pressure point on the forehead.

Perfect for riders with narrow heads
The Arai Signet-Q is a great helmet if you have helmets that are always rubbing on your forehead making uncomfortable hot spots. The shape of this helmet will allow you to wear the proper helmet size and be comfortable.
Pros: Long/Narrow design as promised. Double layered face shield to keep from fogging. Lots of airflow when all the vents are open. Padding removes easily for cleaning and adjusting. Snell 2015 rated.
Cons: The slider pucks at the top of the face shield, although small, are annoying and don't allow for a full field of vision. It might seem like a nit pick, but it bugs me.

Intermediate Oval Goodness
Having worn many helmets throughout my time riding I can say I've worn many an ill fitting helmets. Some manufactures require me to wear a large or extra large. The Signet-Q is the first helmet to ever fit like a glove and has freed me from pressure headaches.
The ventilation on this helmet is very flexible and on a hot day, with all the vents open, the helmet wicks away and evaporates sweat to keep me nice and cool. The anti-fog pin-lock system is superb for cold weather / early morning riding. (I did get a second silver mirror visor and that has only made this helmet better.) If it's really cold outside or raining the vents can be adjusted to find that right balance of airflow for maximum comfort.
Others have reviewed this better than I ever could but the shape of this helmet is perfect for you intermediate oval shaped people out there. Can't stress that enough.

Top of the line, but...
The Arai Signet-Q is the best of the best for the long oval head crowd, as long as your long oval head doesn't have too tall a crown as well. I found the interior shape was perfect for my very pronounced long oval head, but the Signet-Q felt like it was sitting on my head. it just didn't have enough depth in the crown to come down on my head and settle; and my chin was wagging under the chin bar, even with the helmet tilted forward as much as possible. I got an Icon Airmada instead, problem solved; same large size, nearly the same long oval shape, almost as nicely made... returned the Arai, easy returns, thanks Revzilla!

Comfortable, quiet & scoops air. What could be better???
This is an expensive helmet. What do you get for those extra dollars?
Build quality! This thing is a solid lid with nice hardware.
Comfort! The liner is tunable and made of quality material. The visor is nice and wide and absolutely no defect or waviness in the face shield.
Air-flow! This thing shoves air in your face and circulates it all around your noggin. There are other helmets that vent well but this lid does it at all speeds. I even get a breeze when stopped. When I first wore it I reached to pull the visor down when ridding down my neighborhood street at 10mph because I thought it was up due to the air-flow. Yes, it's that good.
Quiet! Not stealth mode movie effect quiet but quieter than any of my previous helmets. You hear slight wind noise but it doesn't overpower other sounds as my other helmets did.
Warranty! 5 years. Enough said.
If you are in the helmet hunt this one should be at the top of your list. I've tried them on in store before and been tempted but have always gone with a cheaper helmet. I'm glad I didn't this time as I could tell within the first mile that this was a keeper!!!

Good helmet. Not cheap but what's your life worth?
If you have a long oval head like mine this helmet is great. For the first time I can wear a helmet and not have a headache and a huge red welt on my forehead when I take it off. The helmet is light with good air flow.

The Arai Signet Q is a great Helmet
It took a while but the guys at Revzilla got me fitted with a great helmet at a great price. The ventilation is great, keeps the visor clear at all times. Very comfortable and light - no turbulence at speed. I haven't been on a bike in 20 + years and I had alot of questions. They had patience with me and answered every question never talking down to me. This is my go to place for bike "stuff" - thanks guys.
