Arai Signet-Q Pro Tour Tactical Helmet

The Signet-Q Pro-Tour takes all the favorite features of the RX-Q and Signet-Q helmets to create a whole new series based on Arai's many innovations, including the radical new Pro Shade System which operates as both a peak and as a sun shade. The Pro Shade System is a small peak that is locked in position. Unlocking is easy; just pull the Pro Shade System forward, then it can be flipped down with a flick of the hand to act as an effective sun-visor.

On the outside, the Arai Signet-Q Pro-Tour Helmet looks very similar to it's namesake, the Signet-Q, but features several innovations on both the inside and outside. A longer shell shape on the Arai Signet-Q Helmet gives 5mm more space front to back allowing for a larger number of heads to fit comfortably. The shape of the Arai Signet-Q Pro-Tour Helmet releases forehead pressures and eliminate hot spots for a more comfortable fit every time.  This shape works best for riders with a long oval headshape.

Additional Features of the Arai Signet-Q Helmet

  • Pro Shade System for dual sun-blocking capabilities
  • Eco-Pure Liner is anti-microbial
  • Ear pockets have been redesigned to better accept communication speakers for a more comfortable fit
  • Both the top vent set and side exhaust cowls are direct carryovers from the RX-Q Helmet
  • Brow vent ducting redirects to flow air across the temples
  • DDL-4 exhaust vent to the 10mm wider eye port (5mm on each side)
  • Long Oval Fit
  • SAI "MAX-Vision Brow Vent" shield
  • Clear Pinlock Max-Vision Brow Vent Pinlock lens included
  • Elongated shell adds 5mm from front to back
  • Long-Oval shape helps prevent “Hot-Spot”
  • Multi-Density Single piece EPS liner
  • Removable, replaceable, washable interior
  • Dry-Cool Surface material for rapid displacement of heat and moisture away from your head and into the ventilation airflow for added comfort while riding and a quick dry between rides
  • 5mm peel-away temple pads adds another level of customization, giving the helmet interior a little extra width when needed
  • Enhanced for customizable micro fitment interior without the need to purchase extra interior components
  • FCS (Facial Contour Support) cheek pad design
  • Innovative and exclusive spring support adds just the right amount of pressure when needed while being worn
  • Meets or exceeds Snell and DOT standards

Great low noise helmet This was my first high dollar helmet purchase, what a difference. It is small (doesn't give you the bobble head look), light, quite, and flows a ton of air. The tinted removable visor is a nice feature and the vents are easy to operate with gloves on. My only small gripe is the chin strap closure snap. It is not the easiest closure system to operate. I've had lower end helmets that had easier to operate chin strap snaps. But after wearing it for a couple weeks, you get used to it. September 21, 2015
There is a reason it has five stars By the time I need a new helmet this will have cost well less that $0.25/hour of use. I really wanted to like the Shoei GT Air, but it just didn't fit my head. I don't know why I bothered. FWIW, this is my third Signet. First was an e, then a GT, now a Q. Thank you Arai for bringing this back. I wore an RX7RR4 for a long time, but it was never as comfortable. September 30, 2015
Overall great helmet. Perfect fit, comfortable and not heavy on head. Needed a special size and found this was the best and fits all my needs. Very satisfied and Revzilla staff extremely helpful and knowledgeable. September 28, 2015
Love this helmet I love this helmet. I curtly own 6 helmets. This is the only one I can say I'm truly in love with. Fit is perfect. Style is perfect. Very light weight for a full face helmet. Seems as if I have way move vision wearing this helmet than I do from any of my other helmets. The only fault I have with this helmet is the tiny cheep lock pins on face shield. I watched the video on how to install face shield twice before trying to install face shield. First time I tryed it lock pin broke off. Had to by a new outer face shield. Way to expensive of face shield for a cheep little lock pin to break as easy as it did. And you can't buy replacement lock pins. Even after that happin I would still give this helmet a 10 out of 10 rating. September 28, 2015
Many features. Excellent helmet for long oval heads. Great fit, well balanced. Very comfortable. Good ventilation. September 28, 2015
Very solid and no nonsense build I've been using the same Arai Profile for about 5 years. And it's still going strong. Here are the strong and weak points roughly ranked in importance. + Build quality is very solid. Nothing has failed, loosened or fallen off in 5 years. No nasty surprises that waste my valuable time waiting for this or that. + Good aerodynamics with only a small amount in the early years. Turning of the head is getting noticeable now that the cheek pads have worn and its a touch looser. + No loosening or wearing down of the visor mechanism and stops; stays fixed in all positions to this day. + No annoying humm, buzz or vibe from some loose vent or screw. + Noise level is tolerable. Never been clamoring for ear plugs. Not as quiet as the modular BMW Motorrad (Schuberth?) that broke so much wind it had to go. + Input venting is good for the hot days and the temple temperature is noticeably cooler when the vents are cracked open. + The d-rings closures are solid, simple and work albeit a bit slower to manipulate. + Finish paint is durable; retains a newish look after years. And a few on in the minus department that can be fixed and some have been. - Not the best exhaust ventilation. Fogs at the hint of cold weather at slower speeds, and fogs completely over at traffic lights. Really needs its multi-stop visor. (Note Im referring to a 5/6 -year old model that had no pinlock) - The visor lock is difficult to impossible to use. The visor gasket is too thick for the tiny tolerance given to the mechanism. - A bit costly for a basic lid with no advanced composites (weaves, aramids), sun visor or sxy graphics. And some annoyances that have their +- trade-offs - Tactile switch for the top front ventilations is not a single decisive operation. Difficult to determine whether they're on / off by glove without toggling it two three four times. Rocker needs to be a touch longer -- but mechanism won't break easily. In contrast, the HJC CL-17 easy-to-determine position slider switch simply falls off its track when pushed with minor force which is easy-to-do with gloves; then you have a permanently open and very big vent. - The top visor vents are difficult to open with gloves. Again, its not a single gesture -- but at least they haven't broken off. Overall, I would recommend for someone unwilling to take a risk on the core basics and build quality. September 24, 2015
At last...a helmet that fit as it should! As a proud owner of a long oval (huge) head (melon) I didn't think I would ever find a comfortable helmet...but I did. For anyone who is similarly blessed call Revzilla and get the Signet Q. At first I tried Arai's Vector 2 and after sitting in the living room with it on for about an hour I realized it wasn't going to work. The customer service at Revzilla took care of me and exchanged it for the Signet Q. I couldn't be happier with the helmet AND the fantastic customer service. September 22, 2015
Lives up to the Arai hype This helmet really does live up to the Arai hype. Good fit, lightweight, comfortable, good field of view. September 21, 2015

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Garold D: Tried it on for fit and liked the fit and comfort. I dig the Tactical Look! Jun 9, 2015
Jeremy P: I have a XXL head with a long oval shape. I was tired of the pressure of my Shoei Neotec on my forehead. This helmet is much quieter and has greater field of view. The shade visor would be better if it was a shade or two darker and covered a little lower on the face shield. This fits great and ventilates very well too.

I don't buy their argument against an internal visor or the fact that they won't make a flip-up helmet which are features that I would prefer.

David A: I have an Arai head.

Love the graphics, looking forward to trying the sunvisor

Salvatore L: I have been a long time customer of Arai helmets. The fit and finish is always top notch. The helmet "fits" me like a pair of bedroom slippers. For someone with a Long oval shape head there is no substitute Nov 17, 2014
