Arai Signet-Q Pro Tour Scheme Helmet

The Signet-Q Pro-Tour takes all the favorite features of the RX-Q and Signet-Q helmets to create a whole new series based on Arai's many innovations, including the radical new Pro Shade System which operates as both a peak and as a sun shade. The Pro Shade System is a small peak that is locked in position. Unlocking is easy; just pull the Pro Shade System forward, then it can be flipped down with a flick of the hand to act as an effective sun-visor.

On the outside, the Arai Signet-Q Pro-Tour Helmet looks very similar to it's namesake, the Signet-Q, but features several innovations on both the inside and outside. A longer shell shape on the Arai Signet-Q Helmet gives 5mm more space front to back allowing for a larger number of heads to fit comfortably. The shape of the Arai Signet-Q Pro-Tour Helmet releases forehead pressures and eliminate hot spots for a more comfortable fit every time.  This shape works best for riders with a long oval headshape.

Additional Features of the Arai Signet-Q Helmet

  • Pro Shade System for dual sun-blocking capabilities
  • Eco-Pure Liner is anti-microbial
  • Ear pockets have been redesigned to better accept communication speakers for a more comfortable fit
  • Both the top vent set and side exhaust cowls are direct carryovers from the RX-Q Helmet
  • Brow vent ducting redirects to flow air across the temples
  • DDL-4 exhaust vent to the 10mm wider eye port (5mm on each side)
  • Long Oval Fit
  • SAI "MAX-Vision Brow Vent" shield
  • Clear Pinlock Max-Vision Brow Vent Pinlock lens included
  • Elongated shell adds 5mm from front to back
  • Long-Oval shape helps prevent “Hot-Spot”
  • Multi-Density Single piece EPS liner
  • Removable, replaceable, washable interior
  • Dry-Cool Surface material for rapid displacement of heat and moisture away from your head and into the ventilation airflow for added comfort while riding and a quick dry between rides
  • 5mm peel-away temple pads adds another level of customization, giving the helmet interior a little extra width when needed
  • Enhanced for customizable micro fitment interior without the need to purchase extra interior components
  • FCS (Facial Contour Support) cheek pad design
  • Innovative and exclusive spring support adds just the right amount of pressure when needed while being worn
  • Meets or exceeds Snell and DOT standards

Arai Signet-Q Pro-Tour Scheme Helmet 4.8 5 285 285
Unsurpassed style and comfort. The graphics are absolutely beautiful and the finish is silky smooth. Regarding fit, I really like the extra space fore and aft. Have always worn large sizes in the past, with this helmet I’m comfortably in a medium. I have observed some extra wind noise when the tinted visor is in the up position. July 20, 2015
There is a difference The Arai Signet-Q is a huge step up for me. I had been wearing the HJC FG-17 because it was Snell approved, but it was very uncomfortable for my head shape - I'm long oval. The Arai does not cause pressure points. The air flow is spectacular compared to what I had before. Cooler than you would think for a dark color helmet. Removing and replacing the face shield can be a little tricky at first. The Arai runs large - I'm XXL in HJC, only XL in Arai and it seems roomy but not too loose. I tried a couple on at a local shop before purchasing with Revzilla - saved a bunch! As far as noise, you're always going to have some wind noise. It does seem like I can hear things a little more clearly with the Arai though. I am very happy with my purchase. I would give it 4.5 stars. Only regret is that I didn't purchase sooner. Thanks Revzilla! September 2, 2015
Worth the price Most comfortable helmet ever owned w/least wind resistance. August 30, 2015
If you have a long oval head this is your best bet This was the only helmet I could find that fit my long narrow head. my head is a narrow 58.5. I used to wear a large and even that would leave a red mark on my forehead. With this helmet I have gone down to a medium with no marks and and no pressure points. I haven't found another full face that fit anywhere near as well. That alone would have made me buy it. Being on the bubble between M and L, the cheek pads were a little tight but have compressed enough in a couple weeks that I don't think I'm going to thin them out, though they make that easy to do if you want to. The venting is pretty good, that may be why the helmet seems so loud. The stock pinlock compatible visor is a nice bonus. If you want the Arai pro-shade and aren't stuck on hi-viz then look at the pro-tour version. No issues installing my Cardo Q3 using the clip mount, wired mic, and speakers. Nice deep pocket in the cheek pads, but I did pull out the first layer of foam in the pocket for the speakers. Overall a nice helmet if a bit expensive. If you have a narrow head, ride more than an hour at a time, don't mind a bit of noise, and can spare the cash, I recommend it. August 24, 2015
Signet q Lightweight, wide field of vision, excellant pull down visor, excellent safety ratings... August 17, 2015
Looks great. This is an excellent helmet. My only complaint is that I wish it had a built in sun visor. August 17, 2015
Super happy Got this a couple weeks ago. First Arai for me. My head is 23 inches just over 58cm and I bought a Medium. I have to say that it fits perfectly. Nice and snug but not too tight. I tried on the RX-Q but felt pressure on the forehead. I'm really happy with the low noise levels and the aerodynamics. It vents really well too. The pro-shade system works great. I've had no problems raising or lowering like some other reviewers. Just read the instructions! It doesn't seem to add any noise or drag when it's up even at highway speeds. Only wish it was a little darker. I think I will go for a smoked visor. Added the Sena 20S and the little speaker pockets are perfect. It took a bit to figure out how to put the cheek pads back it though. All in all best helmet I've owned so far. August 16, 2015
Worth every penny My previous helmet was an odd fitting one. After talking with a rep I determined my head shape, which this helmet fit the bill. I have now put some miles on while wearing the helmet and I must say I am very pleased. The fit and comfort are spot on and the airflow is excellent. The vents are easily manipulated with gloves while riding and the eyebrow vents are a nice touch as well. I'm not sure the weight in comparison to other helmets, but I haven't rode for years and I expected my neck to fatigue after initially riding again. This did not happen. August 14, 2015
