Arai Signet-Q Laurel Helmet

The Signet-Q takes all the favorite features of the RX-Q and create a whole new series based on all the successes. On the outside, the Arai Signet-Q Helmet looks very similar to it's namesake, the RX-Q, but on the inside you can see and feel the difference. A longer shell shape on the Arai Signet-Q Helmet gives 5mm more space front to back allowing for a larger number of heads to fit comfortably. The shape of the Arai Signet-Q Helmet releases forehead pressures and eliminate hot spots for a more comfortable fit every time.  This shape works best for riders with a long oval headshape.

Additional Features of the Arai Signet-Q Helmet

  • Both the top vent set and side exhaust cowls are direct carryovers from the RX-Q
  • Brow vent ducting redirects to flow air across the temples
  • DDL-4 exhaust vent to the 10mm wider eye port (5mm on each side)
  • Long Oval Fit
  • SAI "MAX-Vision Brow Vent" shield
  • Clear Pin Lock Max-Vision Brow Vent face shield Included with the helmet
  • Elongated shell adds 5mm from front to back
  • Long-Oval shape helps prevent “Hot-Spot”
  • Multi-Density Single piece EPS liner
  • Removable, replaceable, washable interior
  • Dry-Cool Surface material for rapid displacement of heat and moisture away from your head and into the ventilation airflow for added comfort while riding and a quick dry between rides
  • 5mm peel-away temple pads adds another level of customization, giving the helmet interior a little extra width when needed
  • Enhanced for customizable micro fitment interior without the need to purchase extra interior components
  • New FCS (Facial Contour Support) cheek pad design
  • Innovative and exclusive spring support adds just the right amount of pressure when needed while being worn
  • Meets or exceeds Snell and D.O.T. standards

As good as it gets This is my 5th ARAI helmet...they don't make them any better and the oval shape is perfect for me. July 14, 2014
Arai continues to earn its place as a top-level helmet manufacturer. In the tradeoff between noise level and ventilation (which seems to apply to all helmets, no matter how well-engineered they are), the Signet Q is exactly where I want to be. During prolonged trips at highway speeds, it does become a slightly-loud helmet, but the level of ventilation is exceptional. While the wind noise is nowhere near what I would call ridiculous or unbearable, a pair of earplugs will make a long journey much more comfortable. One obvious benefit of this is that in slower riding conditions, the unmuffled sound input helps to keep you aware of your surroundings, while the ventilation system continues to work flawlessly. For visibility, a wide shield offers just about all the peripheral vision a rider could possibly use, and the fit & finish of this helmet is second-to-none. For those with a long-oval head, this may be one of the best-fitting helmets you will find. July 14, 2014
Great helmet This is my second Arai Signet Q helmet. The extra-wide field of vision is very nice. The helmet flows enough air that you can feel it around your forehead and scalp at speed. At the same time, it is a relatively quiet helmet. Still, I wear earplugs when I ride regardless. Typical Arai quality on fit and finish. The adjustable cheek pieces add another level of customization. July 10, 2014
Great visibility & comfort This helmet replaced an Arai Profile also in large size. The Signet-Q fits a bit better than the Profile, but I did need to remove a layer from the cheek pads. It fits my very oblong noggin much better now: there was a pronounced hot spot on my forehead with the old Profile (which I dealt with using a large serving spoon to flatten the styrofoam a bit, which had to be every ride), but no hot spots at all with the Signet-Q. I'll update this after the long tour I plan on taking in August to the Rockies, but so far, I'm very happy. I only wish they could have had more stock of the Pro Shade system to supply their dealers. Also, I think the hi-viz has saved my butt a few times already. It seems car drivers actually see my hi-viz mellon coming from a good ways off. July 7, 2014
Great helmet, love it, but got stolen I only worn this helmet two weeks and it is stolen, I would recommend this helmet to everyone, even with a round shape head it is still very comfort and quiet. It keeps me cool with the vent and it is very light. It is such a pain to have such a great helmet stolen. June 28, 2014
Very comfortable, and good fit.... Very comfortable, and good fit..., plus very quiet. I like it a lot. June 25, 2014
Best helmet I've had I upgraded from a 2010 Shoei RF-1100, and it is a large improvement. Much better ventilation, and so much quieter than the Shoei. The face shield seemed difficult to operate at first, but I've gotten used to it after only a couple of rides, so it's good. The top vents add noise when in the open position, but you can really feel the air blowing through, so that's a fair trade-off. The sales guy made removal of the face shield seem extremely complicated, but after reading the manual I got it within the minute. I suggest sales guy read the manual as well :) June 23, 2014
Another Great Arai Helmet This is probably me being a fanboy, but I don't even consider getting something less than an Arai any more. When I'm wearing one, I don't feel like I have a helmet on and yet I know I have top notch protection. It's fantastic. My favorite thing about the Arai approach/brand is that they just get the technical aspects of protection, fit, and comfort spot on and then they stop. There really aren't bells and whistles to try to lure you in. This is my second Arai and it is replacing my 4 year old Vector 2. My Vector 2 was great, but I find the Signet-Q to have more technical features and an overall better fit because its long oval shape is my shape. Buy according to shape, not style. You won't be sorry. June 23, 2014
