Arai Signet-Q Bomb Helmet

The Arai Signet-Q (the long-oval shaped cousin to the RX-Q) is the product of a racing lineage going back to the late 1970’s. Since Arai’s inception, their RX Line of helmets has set an international standard for rider comfort and safety. The Signet-Q is perfection incarnate, blending modern materials and safety features with decades of knowledge and racing heritage. The result are features like an eyeport designed to maximize peripheral vision, an aerodynamically tuned outer shell and a beautifully crafted and ultra comfortable liner. All these features, combined with industry-leading protection, provide riders with an unmatched level of safety and comfort.

A longer shell shape on the Arai Signet-Q Helmet gives 5mm more space front to back allowing for a larger number of heads to fit comfortably. The shape of the Arai Signet-Q Helmet releases forehead pressures and eliminate hot spots for a more comfortable fit every time.  This shape works best for riders with a long oval headshape.

  • Both the top vent set and side exhaust cowls are direct carryovers from the RX-Q
  • Brow vent ducting redirects to flow air across the temples
  • DDL-4 exhaust vent to the 10mm wider eye port (5mm on each side)
  • Long Oval Fit
  • SAI "MAX-Vision Brow Vent" shield
  • Clear Pinlock Max-Vision Brow Vent Pinlock lens included
  • Elongated shell adds 5mm from front to back
  • Long-Oval shape helps prevent “Hot-Spot”
  • Multi-Density Single piece EPS liner
  • Removable, replaceable, washable interior
  • Dry-Cool Surface material for rapid displacement of heat and moisture away from your head and into the ventilation airflow for added comfort while riding and a quick dry between rides
  • 5mm peel-away temple pads adds another level of customization, giving the helmet interior a little extra width when needed
  • Enhanced for customizable micro fitment interior without the need to purchase extra interior components
  • New FCS (Facial Contour Support) cheek pad design
  • Innovative and exclusive spring support adds just the right amount of pressure when needed while being worn
  • Meets or exceeds Snell and D.O.T. standards

awesome after trying several helmets for my wife, she still complained of ill fitting and lots of wind noise. they were either to tight with pressure spots or too loose. this helmet fit perfectly, low wind noise and very very comfortable. she used our intercom to tell me 5 minutes into the ride that this helmet was worth every penny we paid for it! LOVE this helmet. Okay, so I'm wearing a month's worth of student loan payments on my head, but it only makes sense that I'd protect that expensive brain of mine to the best of my ability. I honestly can't rave about this helmet enough. I'm one of those unfortunate souls with a long oval head. I had an old Scorpion helmet that would give me a headache that'd last for days after wearing it all day. I switched to an Icon Airframe and it was much better (more padding), but after an hour or so of riding my forehead starts to hurt. I would find myself shifting the helmet around on my head on long rides trying to make it more comfortable. Red spot on my forehead front and center, as always, when I would take the helmet off. The Signet Q, however, is like a fluffy magical cloud on my head. So, so much better. There was a small break-in period (two rides) where I felt like there might be some odd pressure points in the back of my head. By the third time out it was gone. No more weird pressure points. I went on a 150 mile trek on my bike and it felt great the whole time. My only complaint is that I high speeds I get a bit of helmet lift, but that's more because I need adjust my riding position then the helmet design. It stops once I tuck myself properly down. Oh, and I love the colors. I get a lot of compliments on this helmet. It says "Hey, I'm a woman" without all the pink hearts, butterflies, and flowers that seem to plague women's gear in the motorcycle industry. Not that a man couldn't pull this off. Totally worth the money, especially if you have a long oval head shape! March 29, 2015
