My Go-To Hot Weather Helmet
This is my second Arai helmet - while they are noisier than my other helmets - the air flow is excellent and I am very comfortable in hot weather. In the fall my face can go numb on colder days so I switch to my other brand helmets. Got a Triumph Daytona this summer and this Union Jack design goes perfectly with it!

UK Flag RX-Q Size L
My old Arai Signet GTR Chris Carr had served me well but was now 10+ years old and ready to be replaced. I ride an '07 Bonneville and various old Triumphs, BSAs, and Nortons, so my helmet choice came down to the new Bell Bullit, the Arai Phil Read replica, or this UK Flag helmet. The Bell looks really cool but I think the Arai is probably safer and an all around better choice for not really that much more money than the Bell.
Revzilla shipping was scary fast and I almost left the helmet sitting overnight at my front door because there was no way that it could possibly be delivered the very next day after I order it!
I bought the size large, same as my Arai Signet. The large RX-Q felt really snug at first compared to my comfy old helmet. I've only had it a couple weeks and it feels like it is breaking in nicely. In comparison the old helmet now feels loose and unsafe to use.
The graphics are great, maybe a little much for riding a vintage bike but other than the Phil Reed (which doesn't look as good in the new white as it did in the old black) there's not many full face choices.

Top of the line helmet
This is my second helmet that I have purchased. My first helmet was an Icon Airmada. That was a great helmet, especially for the price, but it was still not up to par with the Arai RX-Q.

I ride a 2012 triumph daytona 675 and that has barely any wind protection from the stock wind screen. But the RX-Q can handle this with no problem because it is very stable when being blasted with wind.

The helmet vents so much better than the Airmada and is considerably quieter. Also there is a lot of room around the ears so i am able to have ear buds in without having them being pressed painfully into my ears.

11,000 Mile Experiment.
Bought this helmet for two reasons. First, to have the best protection and comfort. Second, the styling and paint. After riding for more than 11,000 miles with this helmet on, overall I am pleased. It is a bit pricey, but performs well. Tends to be a little noisy around the pucks, and the face shield removal is a bit quirky. Very resistant to buffeting when head is turned at speed. Good control of air flow. Peripheral vision is superb. High quality. My head is worth it.

Great helmet that also looks fantastic
I have a couple of RX-Q's already and like them, but I chose this new one for its super paint-job. As a Brit myself I think it's perfect: stylish, dramatic and of course patriotic. I have also added a blue-mirror face guard and now it looks even more amazing. It's heavier than the RX-7 and quite noisy at high speed, but a great helmet all round.

I'm considering this helmet as a replacement for my Icon Armada for two reasons - fit and noise. Can anyone tell me if this helmet will be significantly quieter than my Icon? Thanks.
Brian T on Mar 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I haven't worn an Icon so all I can say is I'm pleased with how quiet this helmet is. I have been riding for 40 years and this is the quietest helmet I've ownd as far as I can recall. Hope this helps.
