Exceptional Quality Helmet.
This helmet is great! Super high quality and very comfortable. The liner is also very comfortable. It fits a lot tighter and closer to my face than my old HJC CL-16 helmet, but not uncomfortably so. The graphics are also really high quality. The airflow is much much better than my old helmet, and it is also significantly quieter. Loving this helmet.

Solid performer
This is a well made helmet that is comfortable and dependable. I find the sizing is true and shape is more round to neutral which makes it a bit tight on my forehead do to my head shape.
The guts are easy to remove for cleaning. I wish the visor system were easier to use like some other brands.
I have the matte black helmet which is a beautiful finish but it is less durable than a gloss helmet, I find. It shows nicks from road debris much more easily.

Great added features!
I love that you can take the pads out and wash them. I also enjoy the wider visor that allows for increased peripheral vision. The extra vents and chin spoiler are fantastic. The safety pull straps are a great added feature. I will never wear another helmet!

Very comfortable and amazingly wide vision
I have a round head shape, and this helmet is so very comfortable. And the wide vision makes me forget that I'm even wearing a helmet at all. I love it!

Pinacle of street-riding helemts
Absolutely the most useful street helmet currently made. It's quite, cool, light and stable; everything you could ever want in a helmet. Don't second guess this sucker, if you're thinking of getting one, then get it!

Pricy but still value packed
I settled on the RX-Q after using a Corsair-V for a few months. The more upright riding position of my naked bike called for a less agressive helmet and the RX-Q fit the bill perfectly. My head fits this helmet much better than other brands I've owned and even after break in of the pads, it still provides a nice snug fit. I definitely notice lower noise levels both looking forward and during head checks with Arai. The lighter weight also keeps me from fatiguing on longer rides.
I wouldn't hesitate to continue using Arai as long as they maintain their standards and high quality control.

Superior Quality, Design, Function, Protection, and Style!
I chose the RX-Q Dawn style and found that I am in between a medium and large according to the size chart. I had the benefit of trying on both at a local dealership so I went with the large because the medium was just too snug and felt like it would continue to restrict blood flow after broke in. The large felt very snug for about 3-4 weeks and broke in perfectly. I could have probably went with the medium as well but the break in period would have been longer. The good thing about this helmet is that the large is the same shell size as the medium so I have the option to buy the medium liner and thicker cheek pads which I may consider doing when I go to my first track day. However, the large is still snug, as it is supposed to be, and fits perfectly after thousands of miles and a year of riding with it.
The noise level is not overbearing and is less prominent when all 3 vent options (Face Shied, Chin Bar, Top) are closed. I love the sound of my bike anyway... Air flow design is spot on and circulates air to the proper places to keep you cool and reduce sweat on hot days. This helmet is light and has a proper amount of peripheral vision so you do not have to turn your head that much to see a car to the left/right of you. Shoulder checks, before changing lanes, are easy and quick so you can stay focused on what is in front of you.
This helmet works well in the tuck position. I am a little over 6 feet tall, so I am unable to really look through the stock windscreen/bubble. The RX-Q design, and field of vision, does allow me to see well while tucked. With the top of the helmet just above the windscreen, while in the tuck position, the RX-Q aerodynamics compensates and I feel no wind resistance at all.
I did a lot of research before investing in the Arai RX-Q and found that this is the helmet that fit my needs the best. This helmet gives me the confidence and peace of mind that I will be protected in the event of a crash. Worth the investment!

excellent helmet
I've never bought one of the high end helmets before. Wasn't easy to part with that much dough! No regrets tho-this is an awesome helmet! My noggin is somewhat oval (I suppose you could call it intermediate), and that has presented a problem with other full helmets I have purchased. Not this one-fits great! Don't panic when you first receive and try on the RX-Q. It is definitely snug! But it doesn"t take long to for it to break in.
