Arai RX-Q Dawn Helmet
I owned a Shoei for many years and finally upgraded to an Arai. I was happy with the Shoei except I had a small problem with the fit around the ears., The Arai fit great right out of the box. It felt a little snug at first but either it got broken in quickly or I became used to it quickly. It is a reassuring and firm feel now. With the Shoei I noticed a big difference in noise level even going from the shield slightly open to completely closed. The Arai is fairly quiet with the shield slightly open and very quiet when shut.

Love this Lid
I switched from Nolan to the Arai brand and am in love. This helmet has the best fit of any of my Nolans. There are zero pressure points and I can wear for hours and hours without removing. In a wiinter trip I don't even take it off unless I have to go inside a building, leave it on during quick stops for fuel, etc. The Nolan I needed to take off to give my head a break. My brother got the Arai Signet Q as he has a slightly different head shape and needed the different fit. He loves his as well. When its time I will get another Arai.

Typical Arai - The Best.
Excellent everything. I've owned many helmets over the years, and the only one that comes close to Arai is Shoei. With the 5 different shell sizes, this is the best one I've owned yet. My only complaint is: Wish the Visor came pin-lock ready. Not a huge deal, but It would be nice. Though even with the stock visor, there is not much of a fogging problem. I highly recommend this helmet.

A brand that holds up to their name
I'm shortsighted and i hate to ride wearing contacts because the airflow tends to dry the eyes out. Arai helmets have been very forgiving for people with glasses like me. The fit of the pads doesn't stress your face out. I attach a UCLEAR comms system to the helmet and it fits pretty nice considering that i don't have to make any mods to the cheekpads. Noise levels are low but tend to increase at high speeds above 180 which is acceptable. Aerodynamics and downforce are AWESOME!

Great helmet… Worth every penny
This helmet will cost you a pretty penny, but your safety is worth it. If the "Arai" fit works for you, the RX-Q is one of the best street-style helmet you can buy. Comfortable, quiet and functional; enough said.
*I tried Shoei's GT-Air and RF-1200 as well. They are nice helmets, but never fit quite right.

My Favorite Helmet
This helmet is my first choice. Although I have others they are much louder and heavier. This helmet has so many features as far as wind direction inside and outside of the helmet. Did not take me long to understand these features of this helmet neither.
I wear the flat black helmet with the darkened shield. And the Dainese leather jacket. Perfect wicked combination of colors, recommended to me by a phone call by RevZilla staff.

Trust The Fit Chart
Bought an Arai from a local shop only because it seemed to fit right (semi-snug) and was a demo model clearance item - BIG MISTAKE!
After watching a video on the proper fitment of Arai helmets, I realized that I bought a whole size too big.
Use the size chart. A proper fitting Arai helmet SHOULD be tight fitting at first but will break in with use - like a fine leather shoe. AND they have a 5mm tear away layer in the cheek pads to fine tune the fit.
Once broken in, you will have the best fitting helmet you ever owned.
The RX-Q I bought from Revzilla is beautifully made - like it was made by craftsmen, not a factory.
They may be a bit pricier than other brands but the peace of mind knowing you're well protected with a cutting edge product is worth the extra money.
Revilla seems to have the best price going these, and with free shipping, you can't go wrong.

Arai the best helmets
Great helmet, definetly Arai is the best safety helmets I´ve ever known, I´ve had other great helmets like Airoh and HJC, but Arai went beyond my expectations. Also its features are fantastic, its paint flawless and appearance incomparable.
Airflow is good, keeps you cool even in hot weather.
I was a little bit scared with sizing, but the size chart is pretty accurate, I am 58 cm and chose M size. At the beginning the helmet fit me a little bit tight at cheekpads, but later they fit very good.
