Arai Corsair V Nakagami Helmet
Top of the line Arai, need to say more ?
Top model Arai made for the track but I just wear it for everyday commute. Yes it's better and more stable in full tuck. But I got used to it in 3/4 and somewhat upright on my GS and multistrada . Work great for me..... My head is round oval and perfect for me after 4hour trip. No hotspots anywhere.. 59cm head size, I went with a large in Corsair V vs my RxQ in medium.... Both fit perfect and no drag at 135mph...

Great fit, look & great price.
Saw this helmet at the 2015 Isle of Man TT. Great graphics. I was looking for more of a racing helmet to use on track day, along of reminding me of the TT. I ordered a medium, which is the same size as my other Aria helmet. The fit is snug while still fitting comfortable. The price I paid was considerably lower than offered at the TT. No regrets in my purchase.

Excellent airflow, comfort and gorgeous design/paint
I've never had an Arai before. I have had a couple Shoei helmets including the GT Air which I really like, and a Ruby Belvedere. The Arai is a very comfortable helmet that flows a ton of air and is surprisingly quiet. It's a little heavier than I would have thought, but it doesn't feel heavy on your head and it's very stable at speed.
I also just love the design. I'm a fan of the IOM race and think this helmet looks cool as all get out. The paint quality is fantastic; I got it with the gold mirror shield and the tint is nice for sunny days.

I've spent the past 4 years in a vector, the fit was never quite right. This corsair not only fits better, but the wind noise is less & it feels great from the moment I put it on, until I take it off. Weight feel a bit lighter from what I can tell. This is also a beautiful looking helmet, so I suppose if you're a collector of the limited editions there's that. I'll be wearing mine!

Russell Frost Graphic
I originally bought the Arai Corsair V Russell Frost Graphic to use as a track helmet. Since I live 3+ hours from the closest track, and I do not go to track days as often as I thought I would, I ended up wearing this helmet for streets as well to get more use out of it.
I'm not going to talk about the fit because everyone's head is different and you really should try the helmet of your liking and feel for yourself, rather than read how the helmet fits other reviewers' head shapes.
But to give you a slightly better insight, I have a weirdly shaped head. If you were to look down to my head from top, it would look like an acorn. Intermediate oval (whatever that means) with wider rear. I have tried on numerous types of helmets to get the right, comfortable fit (Schuberth, HJC, Arai, Shoei, Bell, AGV, Shark). The most comfortable helmet for me was Shark from 15 years ago (I forgot the model#), and I should probably buy another Shark but no offline stores in NYC has Shark helmets to try on. But I digress.
Arai Corsair V fits my head. I've gone on a few 2-3 hr rides and (some longer) without any comfort issue. Bit loud as any race helmet would be, but nothing ear plugs can't amend. Superb air flow.
Kids love this graphic. I get tons of compliments, two thumbs up as well as waving from children who normally would be timid to make an eye contact with a man in black leather. Ladies love the graphic too. But most importantly, I'm absolutely in love with this graphic. Thanks for reading.

I've been blinded by the high cost of owning one. Never realizing the compromise I've been living with for so very long.
I had no idea that what I truly thought was an overpriced bucket was worth every penny they were selling it for. And that's before you even need to use it for its primary purpose. The air flow is spine tingling. The fit, obscenely spot on. The view is beyond inter galaxial. The darkened tone through the smoked visor is picture perfect with virtually NO distortion. The design and graphics is a work of art. The silence is eerie even at high speeds compared to my previous mistakes in choice. This should be the UNIVERSAL design for cranial protection systems. Oh, yeah Arai simply calls it a helmet. Arai, is neither a fashion statement nor a status symbol, much less an accidentaly produced riding equipment . Arai, is a deliberate solution to a personal necessity of every motorcycle rider .

Pictures don't do the camo graphic justice.
Everyone knows of the Corsair V, and how it's one of the best helmets you can buy. The camo graphic is sweet, photos dont do it any justice. Nicky's face on it is a little wild, but its not bad in person. Just different, which is good. If you like this graphic and/or are one of the few people with a bike and gear setup to match it, buy this helmet, you wont be disappointed.
I bought mine on closeout, but it feels like its worth more. The finish quality is second to none. If I had the money, I wouldnt hesitate to pay retail on Arai's flagship model. My only gripe is with the faceshield. Its a pain in the butt.
