We have all experienced a dead battery in our vehicle and the dread of not being able to start it, or that cell phone battery that died during that important call… or perhaps your GPS died on a long ride or hike. The MICRO-START is a pocket size jump-starter and back-up battery supply for all your electronic devices and ends those dead battery problems forever!  Whether you are riding, driving, camping or hiking the Micro-Start is one of the most important items you will ever purchase. Great Product!! I was out on an ATV ride with 6 Razr's and 4 ATV'S. well need less to say one of the Rzr's would not start so I pulled out my Micro Start and jumped the rzr and it started right up . I had about 5 friends take pictures of the micro start and they will be ordering their own. That is real world application. September 15, 2015

Awesome product - tremendous peace of mind I just ordered this product last week. I had heard great things about it, and I recently transported a Vespa to my summer home where it will stay since I upgraded to a Honda CB500X a few years ago. Vespas are notorious for battery issues and I've had my share over the years. I also wanted backup for longer road trips on my Honda or just in general if the cars have an issue. The day I received my X3 I had a reason to use it as my Porsche Boxster was in the garage with a dead battery. The product is extremelly portable - its light and the case holds all the parts necessary to charge my devices or jump start a vehicle. I charged it (about 2 hours) and then hooked it up to the Porsche and hit the power button. Immediately I heard the radio come on and a few seconds later I had the car started on the first attempt. The Boxster has an interesting issue when it dies, and that is that you can't get at the battery because the hood lock won't open manually. So you have to jump the hood first, which is a really tight little plug in the fuse box down by the clutch pedal. This is where having a small device with a light already attached really pays dividends. Short summary is that I love the product - its light and easy to transport, and I'll be using it for any distance travel - car or motorcycle. I may have to get a second to leave out at my summer home. I highly recommend this product. August 13, 2015
Must have for dual sport/adv riding. You can't put a price on not being stranded. Good quality. Good size. Good price. June 15, 2015
works like a charm Left my lights on a little too long, it got me started right up. I use it to charge everything now, it seems to charge iphone, Bluetooth, and ipad faster then regular charging November 22, 2014
Excellent and innovative product Jump starts everything from motorcycles, tractors to v8 powered truck multiple times on a single charge. I started my v8 powered truck with NO battery off this device. Jumped my wife's benz gl550 with ease. Good for 4 iPhone 5 full charges, will run laptop for 2 hours. Required 6 hours to recharge from empty via 110v Delivers 100% as advertised. Highly recommended September 15, 2014

A shopper asked: can this battery be used to power heated gear (jacket/gloves) while unplugged from motorcycle? Nov 16, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
WALTER F: Your question is somewhat "strange", and interesting at the same time....
Strange, because this battery is designed to give you electrical starting power, in case of main battery problem; I do not see the "figure" to be constantly plugged to it, unless it is an emergency....

On the other hsnd, I have not tried to use it in anything else, that is not charging different electronic devices (phone, Ipad, etc). But I can not imagine any problem using it as a power source for what you are mentioning.

Good luck with the challenge (if you decide to buy it), and let us know how it went.

Kaihil M: I guess it all boils down to your connection. This XP-3 has two...
1) USB
2) Special plug for jumper cable attachment.
So if you have heated gear that has a USB attachment then I would assume you could!
It's out put is 12volt and heated gear runs 12v or 7v for some Gerbing gear.
It basically acts like a battery and heated gear can run directly off a A 12 volt battery with a controller.

So my logic say yes but it again boils down to the connection!

Good luck on your project....

Ishai R: I don't think so- check with the manufacturer. When I spoke to them prior to me purchasing , I got the impression that the chemical properties of the battery are not suitable for long and slow 12 volt consumption . Nov 16, 2015

Daniel A: I have not used it for heating equipment. But it does work for crll phone and tablet charging. I suppose with the right adapter it should work. Nov 17, 2015

A shopper asked: how long does the xp10 hold a charge before needing to be recharged ? Aug 9, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Daniel A: I have had the battery sit for over a month and it still held almost a full charge.
It generally takes under a full hour to bring to a full charge when its about 50% charged. When its 50% charged it starts my motorcycle multiple times and it stays charged after the jump.
I find this tool along with a tire repair kit to be essential tool kit.

It also servers as a laptop, and phone charger. Depending on what model you get, you can get with multiple power adapters to plug in your phones, GPS and laptops to charge them, proves very useful off the bike.

Eric S: I carried mine in my saddlebags all summer (3 months) without using it. When I checked it was more than 90% charged. I was impressed. I think it is a good product. I would buy it again. Aug 9, 2015
