Confident riding is important, and so is confidence in your side stand. With the AltRider Side Stand Foot for the Suzuki V-Strom 650, you’ll never have to worry if your bike will sink and fall in soft ground.

Made from hefty 1/8 inch stainless steel, this foot features 3D tread, creating an extremely easy-to-deploy side stand.  With the most ergonomic design on the market, the side stand is easy to grab with your boot even while on the bike. The AltRider foot also clamps down on the actual foot of the side stand with Torx fasteners, because we took time to create a design that will remain tight even after years of use.  No more rattling or stripped fasteners.

bad! the bike stand is black. personaly i went to a work shop and paint it black. comes with general instractions to install which made me to nail the screws(and i have a proffesional kit).in addition while folded it stacks with the bike center stand!!! January 1, 2013
Easy install and works well. What can you say, it takes maybe five minutes to install (took me longer to find my Torx 25 driver) and works well. I have the OEM centerstand and there is no interference. Just don't over tighten the screws, use some locktite, and screw in until flush with the bottom. It works like it's suppose to and I have not had any issues. August 27, 2012
This should come with the bike. Works great and has proven to be worth it's weight in gold. I tried another option which didn't fit the bike with the factory center stand installed (2012 Suzuki Vstrom 650). Sent it back and got this. It seems a little pricey but you will forget about it once you realize how well it works on all surfaces. No more having to remember to pick up the puck or worry about sinking into those hot parking lots. Soft grass? Gravel? Mulch? No problem. And it looks good doing it. Stainless steel so it will always look the same and no finish to chip or wear off. I don't regret the purchase in any way. Installation was a breeze. 5 minutes tops. Buy it. You won't regret it.
