It’s no secret that V-Strom owners are passionate about their bikes. That’s why we designed the AltRider Side Stand Foot for the Suzuki V-Strom 1000: to provide a larger foot that gives the V-Strom the support it needs. Don’t let your V-Strom fall over in the mud – give it a proper foot to stand on.

Made from hefty 1/8 inch stainless steel, this foot features a 3D tread that provides traction for your boots. It is the most ergonomic design on the market, allowing easy deployment of the side stand while still on the bike. The AltRider foot also clamps down on the actual foot of the side stand with Torx fasteners, which means it will remain tight even after months of use. No more rattling or stripped fasteners.

The install was pretty easy other than I had to take a dremmel tool and trim a little of the welding down so that all four bolts would mate properly. The foot itself is VERY well made. I own a super farkled Vstrom 1000 that fully loaded weighs a lot and the bigger footprint keeps the bike from sinking into softer ground. The placement of the "teeth" seems spot on which makes it even easier to reach the side stand with your boots to lower. I would definitely recommend the product.
