AltRider Bmw F800GS Rear Brake Reservoir Guard

When you tap your rear brake, you want to know it’ll be there. Install the AltRider Rear Brake Reservoir Guard for the BMW F 800 GS to protect the life-blood of your rear braking system.

Made from 2 mm anodized aluminum, it installs using OEM hardware and offers full coverage to the reservoir. It includes an upper flange that protects the reservoir from damage and tampering. An AltRider logo cutout allows you to check fluid levels, while a recessed cutout for the fastener keeps the design clean.

Additionally, this is the only rear brake reservoir guard to incorporate an installation tab in the back that keeps the guard and reservoir from twisting after installation.

Note: Not compatible with 2013 models.

Quick, easy and solid! A breeze to install, so long as you've got Torx wrenches in your toolkit. Good, solid metal protection for the rear brake fluid reservoir if you're thinking of riding on dirt/gravel. Takes all of two minutes to install. April 29, 2013
Seems like it will do its job I don't know if this thing is all that necessary, but it at least cleans up the look of the rear MC. This particular unit does make the whole MC more secure in that it stops the thing from being able to swivel around. It works. October 29, 2012
