AltRider Luggage Rack XT1200Z Super Tenere
The AltRider Luggage Rack for the Yamaha Super Tenere XT1200Z is greatly improved over the stock version making it one of the first parts you’ll want to install on your new adventure bike. Designed to be strong for on or off road riding adventures, it’s made from 3/16 inch (4.75 mm) aluminum and features side flanges for added rigidity and mounting points, as well as a completely redesigned bracket. This design also allows the luggage rack to be run in the low position (with out pillion seat or grab handles). Part of the design was to use the same hardware, so there is nothing to loose.
The AltRider Luggage Rack comes with a mounting bracket, made from 3/16 inch (4.75 mm) aluminum, which replaces the stock plastic mounting bracket and greatly increases the rack’s capacity. Between the bracket and rack we created a cubby that is 8.5” X 6” X 3”. The cut-out pattern is perfect for creating a door with a bungee cord (ROK straps), making it a perfect glove box to stuff items in without the need to secure them. The rack itself is uniquely designed with a variety of cut-outs, so you can easily attach your bags with anything from straps to bungee cords to tie downs.
If you want the option of using a top case, the AltRider Luggage Rack provides an interface for the Givi Monokey systems, allowing attachment with a mount kit (sold separately).

This is the rack that Yamaha should have made stock with the bike. It is sturdy with a nice finish and is easy to install with a hex key. There is extra storage space under the toprack which is a nice bonus.

Like all AltRider parts, this will not disappoint. The product is as described: Big, functional and well-designed. I drilled a few holes in mine and custom mounted a Pelican. Great finish and well-made. You won't be sorry you made this purchase.

The AltRider Luggage Rack far exceeded my expectations. When the package arrived I though it was empty, but no, the Rack is just that light. I can see this rack outlasting my bike.

This is a big tail rack, much larger than the stock plastic one. Fit and finish are excellent. It is very well though out with large openings for attaching straps. The design is very solid, no flexing. I also purchased the hardware to adapt this rack to Givi monokey top case and it fits very well.

Massive rack, well built, and took about 5 minutes to install. Slightly more expensive than other brands, but worth the extra dollars.

After the stock rack cracked from the strain of a tail bag strapped to it, I bought the Alt Rider version. Delivery was very fast. The quality of the rack is amazing, it uses a very heavy gauge aluminum that will probably outlast the bike.

Very well made rack. Very strong and versatile. Setup for GIVI trunks and RotoPak fuel containers. Numerous points to tie/bungee loads to.
Very easy fitment. Designed to be used with either the rear seat installed or removed on the Super Tenere.
