The AltRider Side Stand Foot for the Kawasaki Versys provides a larger foot for your side stand, so you can confidently kick it down and know your bike will stay upright in soft ground situations.

Made from hefty 1/8 inch stainless steel, this foot features a 3D tread that provides traction for your boots. It is the most ergonomic design on the market, allowing easy deployment of the side stand while still on the bike. The AltRider foot also clamps down on the actual foot of the side stand with Torx fasteners, which means it will remain tight even after months of use. No more rattling or stripped fasteners.

Decent Product at a High Price The side stand foot is two cut pieces of ss gage plate. The primary plate has a formed leading edge. The two plates sandwich the OEM foot using small screws to keep the foot in place. For the price of this product, I would expect deburred parts, a choice of finishes and a simple photo showing the assembly. It does seem like a good, solid product but has lots of competition. Work on finishes and price and it would go a long way.. February 11, 2013
