AltRider BMW R1200GS Glare Guard

Shine light on your route and not in your eyes with the AltRider Glare Guard for the BMW R 1200 GS. The tough plastic piece fits tightly to the both the AltRider Stainless Steel Headlight Guard and the AltRider Lexan Headlight Guard, preventing reflected light from hitting the wind screen and blinding you.

When utilizing a headlight guard, you may not realize how much glare is generated it until you try riding at night. AltRider created a unit that strategically blocks all the reflected light while still maintaining a great design that’s integrated to the R 1200 GS styling.

The glare guard attaches using two Torx headlight fasteners, making installation fast and easy. This piece enhances both the safety and look of your BMW. See the specifications tab to view dimensions to determine if this piece will fit with other headlight guards.

Does indeed cut the glare Added this piece after installing a Lexan headlight protector from a different vendor. The AltRider unit does the job - riding at night without it was very distracting. Not anymore. Installtion, while super simple in principle, can be tricky to perform without first removing the windshield as access to the screws is otherwise nigh impossible... May 13, 2013

A must have! If you have headlight glare on your windscreen, this eliminates that problem, super easy install in less than 5 minutes...and it enhances the appearance of the headlight assembly without interfering with any headlight protection you might have April 30, 2013
