A working headlight means you can ride wherever and whenever you want, so protect yours with the AltRider Stainless Steel Headlight Guard for the BMW F 800 GS.
A sturdy face made from stainless steel deflects dirt and debris while you ride, while strong arms – attached using OEM hardware – keep it secure. This guard won’t shift or swivel.
What really sets the AltRider headlight guard apart from others, however, is that we used Dzus fasteners. When it’s time to clean off road grime, other guards must be uninstalled, but you can remove the face of the AltRider guard with just a quarter turn of each fastener. The Dzus fasteners have nylon washers installed, too, so you never need to worry about losing them.
Because there’s no bezel between the headlight and windshield, installing any headlight guard will cause glare. This is especially dangerous at night, when that reflected light could blind you. That’s why we include the AltRider Glare Guard with our headlight guard – it will protect your eyes and complement the lines of your BMW.

At first I had a problem with the price for a headlight protector but when it arrived and I looked at the quality of the product I understood where the cost came from. In the past any guards I had seen were an overgrown wire screen. This is machined stainless steel and with the light shield is good value. ALTrider readily solved the problem when I coudn't get it to fit -- I had the brackets reversed (in spite of the instructions). It's a quality product and fits perfectly.
