AltRider BMW F800GS Radiator Guard

No one wants rocks or road debris to slow down the ride. That’s why AltRider designed the AltRider Radiator Guard for the BMW F 800 GS for serious protection of your vulnerable radiator.

Made with 1/16 inch (1.5 mm) anodized aluminum, it replaces the OEM guard for a heftier solution. Louevers deflect kicked up debris, and AltRider designed them to simultaneously direct air toward the radiator to keep it cool. The AltRider Radiator Guard attaches with OEM mount points and hardware, and is the only guard currently available that utilizes the lower middle mount to provide increased strength and protection. Plus, installation was made easy by making sure you wouldn’t have to remove the body panels.

AltRider is proud of the design on this product. For safety and style, install the AltRider Radiator Guard for the BMW F 800 GS and keep on riding.

Nice upgrade that installs easily Definitely a big step up from the OEM rad cover, especially for gravel or off-road riding. Installs very quickly and easily with clear and concise instructions. The top screw/nut can be a little tricky if you've got to work around crash bars (as I did - would have been a royal pain to have to remove the bars to install this item). April 29, 2013

Installs easy, well made. If you need radiator protection, then this is a good one. Though at the more expensive end of the spectrum, fit/finish is top notch. October 22, 2012

Simple Install I have purchased other AltRider products in the past and have always been impressed with their quality and ease of installation. This was a really easy install, and could have been completed without instructions at all. However, it is nice to know that the instructions were in English and written by folks, where English is likely their first language. I've had some Touratech items delivered in the past, that while quality is beyond reproach, the instructions had to be deciphered. June 11, 2012

A high quality product. There are lots of radiator guards on the market for the F800. Even though slightly more spendy than some guards, I choose the Alt Rider due it's mounting system that uses a low centered screw/nut bracket to help anchor the bottom of the guard, and because of Alt Rider's made in the USA concern for quality and customer satisfaction. Installation was a snap. The fit is perfect. The fins on the Alt Rider look well designed to protect the radiator, yet ready to grab air. . May 18, 2011
