AltRider BMW F650GS Voltage Regulator Guard

The guard is made with 1/8 inch (3.175 mm) anodized aluminum, and we designed it with louevers that direct air toward the heat sink, cooling it off so it can perform more efficiently. This piece attaches using OEM mounting points, and we made sure to include stainless steel fasteners that mount flush to prevent snagging on your pants or boot.

This is a great add-on I bought this for my BMW F650. I didn't like the way the stock voltage regulator just sat there, ugly and exposed. This cover solved that in style! It fits perfectly, protects the regulator, and looks sharp. The cover also has vents directing the airflow to the fins of the regulator. I do not know if this is needed, but it is cool. Very high quality, and great function. April 8, 2012
