Alpinestars Women's Vika Leather Pants (Size 38 Only)
Good pants,long crotch
The pants are comfy for the most part. They do have a break-in period. I wouldn't jump on your bike right away. The crotch is too long. It caused mine to split. I'm getting it resewn and hopefully taken up. The leg zippers can also be irritating when you're wearing boots, but thick socks help.

They look great, are so stylish and they are very comfortable. Love to ride with them.
Size is as advertised.

Fits great, almost like a second skin...almost
Everything fits tight and feels good, almost tailored to my size, which is fairly thin but tall. The style is great looking too.
Also, although this is for riding I actually do martial arts and get a great range of movement in this.
That's really all. Most people covered other positive things I could mention.

Supercool, but not well fitted for tall people.
Good things first: I love the soft leather and the shape. I feel like a superstar wearing them!
BUT: These pants are not made for tall people. The knee protectors slide up and if I pull them down, the crotch is to low (they sort of crawl inwards too, so it doen't really feel like they protect the outside of the knee completely#
Also, when zipped together with the jacket it almost feels as if the jacket is too short as well. I'm 5'8 got a size 40 in pants and jacket. I'm normally a size 4 #38 in european sizes) The pants are very tight, and I cannot fit anything underneath, but I'm confident they will stretch a little bit.
They were difficult to pull up over the hips and I was almost afraid of breaking something. But once I got them on and zipped they were ok - after walking around in them for half an hour they had stretched out somewhat. So don't be afraid of a tight fit when you first try them on - if you can zip them without suffucating they are probably the right size.
I should probably have ordered a size 42 for the suit to fit lenghtwise, but then it would be a bit too saggy for my taste. I wish Alpinestars would make a tall size as well, cause if you're >5,8 and buy a size 40 or smaller it's probably too short.

Good summer leather pants
I was somewhat skeptical about purchasing these, as reviewers here and elsewhere have commented on their 'lightweight-ness'. However, I was tired of having only heavy-duty leather pants for commuting and often feeling rather dumpy, so I decided to give these a whirl.
They are certainly thinner than your standard leather moto pants. This is great, though, if you would rather wear lightweight leather than mesh for warmer days. And they are super light and small to toss in a backpack and tote around as needed.
Initially, I purchased the 38. Way too small, I couldn't even get them past my thighs, much less the hips! But I normally wear a US size 2 or 3, with waist 25-26, hips at most 35, inseam about 28, height 5' 3". I exchanged for a size 40, and that fit much better. However, it seems like such a big difference, because they feel a bit baggy -- I can fit pants underneath them! Contrary to the default fitted image for this product, they feel and look quite loose on me. Nevertheless, heed the warnings from others to size up.
The knee pads placement is a little weird, though. I tuck the pants in the boots, and if I have the cuffs closer to the calf than the ankles for comfort and no bunching up, then the knee pads are too high. But if I pull the cuffs down closer to my ankles to get the knee pads closer to mid/low knees, the crotch area feels pulled down when I am in the sitting position.
For weather 65 degrees F or warmer, these pants work great. Anything cooler, and I wear my heavier leather pants. They zip nicely with the Vika leather jacket (which I also wear in a size 40).
I think they should have cost $100 less.

fitted, yet comfortable
I bought these right before doing an 1100 mile/6 day ride. Needless to say I was hoping that they'd work out seeing that they were my only pair of riding pants.
They performed beautifully. The fabric inserts gives them a nice level of flexibility (I never felt constricted getting on and off the bike nor felt too "strapped in" when we stopped for lunch) while having the protection of the leather and the armor in the knees. We didn't have hot weather, but even so I felt that these pants breathe and they didn't feel too dirty by the end of the trip.
My build is athletic (I work out so I have muscle and I'm not skinny skinny) and they felt well fitted but not too tight. I think if you're relatively lean these will work. I was afraid that my not-supermodel-thin butt and thighs would be too much for these but they still fit great - the fabric allows for a bit of give.
Overall, I'd recommend.

Love the pants
As with the jacket, unbelievably soft leather! These pants fit snug, but have stretch panels which make them pretty forgiving. I'm an athletic 5'7, 130 lbs, 36 hip, 26" waist, and the 40 fits just right. As far as protection goes, It's significantly less than the Alpinestars Tyla pant or the Bat pants, but the Vika is a lot sexier and much more comfortable. Perfect for riding around town, even going to lunch.
