Soft leather; great comfort
I just ordered these gloves, so I can't tell you yet how they feel on the open road, but putting them on they feel like butter. I am so far very pleased with this purchase.
I intend to use them for light riding. I wouldn't recommend these gloves if you intend to go on a more aggressive/longer ride, as they do not provide serious protection.
Alpinestars runs truer to a European size, so if you are XS in other brands, make sure you get a S. Most importantly, read the sizing guide and measure your hand before you purchase! If you do, you can't go wrong. These fit me perfectly.
I can't wait to test them out tomorrow!

Great combo of style and protection for 'me lady
Everything we were looking for except size. I'd say they run about a size and a half too small. For example, my wife wears a size Medium in Euro gloves. She ended up with a Large and it was still tight but wearable. We're hoping for some stretch. After one return, the process gets sort of old, even though Revzilla makes it pretty easy, and not horribly expensive, although the return shipping fee does represent a sizable percentage of a small purchase such as gloves.

These gloves to the matching Vika Jacket are quite stylish. Although they may not be as protection orient as some of the other gloves in the same price range, they are of good quality leather non the less.

William S:I bought these for my wife. I can't say how well they will hold up in a crash but as you noted there is no hard knuckle protection. These strike me as a fairly light weight summer glove. The only areas of minimal extra padding are a small area on the heel of the palm and 2 angled pads on the back of the hand. There are also some perforations in the palm side of the fingers and thumb.Apr 28, 2014
logan s:The leather is thick and will protect from low speed abrasion. Alpinestars uses great leather. Yes they are lacking in knuckle protection/ sliders. I got these for my gf who occasionally rides 2up. Not a glove for the track or aggressive street, but very aesthetically pleasing. Apr 28, 2014
Tracy N:I own the gloves, and I must admit, the protection is extremely minimal (no better than leather gardening gloves) so I don't use them! I prefer my Alpinestars GP plus, followed by my Scorpion Fiore gloves, both which offer better protection.Apr 28, 2014
