Way too small, nice features
I really like the idea of this and the venting it has. The hook and loop elastic on the forearm is a great feature to lock in the armor. The armor is a nice combination of hard and soft armor.
Don't buy them unless you have really small arms. Even with a large/xl i couldn't fit into these. Usually im a large in arm guards. If they had one size bigger it would be perfect and I would buy a pair. I recommend them if they fit, if not look into another pair.

New elbow armor
I got revived my alpinestars vapor ebow armor today. I am happy with them. They feel like they will do the job Gob forbid I go down. i ordered the L/XL because I heard they run small, and I have to say I'm glad I did. They are a good price for the product and I have to say I will recommend this product to other people.

I just got my L/XL guards in the mail. I wont ever get a chance to use them because they are so small. I'm not jacked or anything and I can barely get these around my arms. They fit like lady's pads.

Second pair doing a lot better
First pair I got only lasted a day (2 rides). On the second day on of the clasps busted from the cord. Got a replacement thanks to the wonderful customer service of revzilla.
I got a L/XL, and I have to say I'm not a thick armed man by any means (muscular or otherwise), and these are pretty tight. I'm not even able to put the hooks to the holes on the side or these would be WAY to tight. Just hooking them back to the cord works but the are still quite snug. The durability on this second pair is pretty decent so far. I've had them a couple weeks and have used them regularly, even getting caught in a sudden down pour, they dried out pretty quickly. If not for the fact that they are so snug/small I would recommend them.

perfect for occasional use
i just wanted something to protect my elbows for a two-day dirt bike class. (I normally ride street bike, but this was great practice in cornering, controlling slides, braking in slippery, etc.) I went down 15+ times, and these guards did their job well. For the novice or occasional dirt rider, they seem perfect. Easy on and off.

Alex D:They are sold as a pair. Just a FYI they do fit quite snug and you have to be careful with where the clip attaches to the strap, it can break under to much stress (pulling the clip to engage/disengage as apposed to pulling the cord itself)Jan 23, 2014
Geoffrey S:They are sold as a pair. They run a little small. I'm an average size guy, 5'5" I use a size medium jacket. I bought the size lrg/xlrg, and its kind of tight. No, I don't have popeye size forearms.Jan 23, 2014
RevZilla:The Alpinestars Vapor Elbow Guard are made to be worn directly on the arms, as in, if you took the jacket off, they would still be on your arms. This differs from armor which is in your Stella T-GP Plus, since that armor is actually installed in pockets sewn into the sleeves. You might be able to wear Vapor Elbow Guards under your jacket, if you first remove the previous armor. This will also be dependent on how much excess room you have in the sleeves; built like The Rock, it might be a problem. The Vapor Elbow Guards are going to be bulkier than what comes standard in the Stella jacket.Apr 17, 2013
