Needed gloves for cold weather riding. I've been in harsh conditions with other gloves and have suffered miserably. These work great!

Alpinestars is top notch quality. You get what you pay for. I ride in the NW and extreme (below 40) temps if going to pay top dollar for my heat I want to be protected and Alpinestars is who I trust to do that.

will these gloves work with the garbing 12V heated jacket or the garbing control and wiring systems?

I think since both systems work on the same voltage and have a separate control knob its just a matter of making an adapter between the two plugs (or maybe its even the same plug?)

anyone tried it or can figure it out?

BEST ANSWER: I use a gerbings liner with these and have had no troubles
Are there heating elements in the thumb?
A shopper on Dec 29, 2012
BEST ANSWER: The heating elements on the Alpinestars Tech Heated Gloves run up the entire length of the back of the hand, including the fingers and thumb.
XXL in Alpinestars, Dainese, & RS-Taichi gloves all fit me dead on perfect. EXCEPT my Alpinestars Storm Riders, which I have to wear a XXXL due to the thick goretex liner.
A shopper on Oct 7, 2012
BEST ANSWER: The gloves fit just like my other alpinestar gloves which is why I usually stick with alpine stars. I did buy a pair of held gloves that fit my fingers good but the thumb was a little tight.
What is the warranty on this item?
A shopper on Aug 16, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Alpinestars offers a 1 year warranty on all of their products.
Hi will Alpinestars Tech Heated Gloves work when plugged into say tour master synergy 2.0 liner? instead of running two power leads to the bike.etc
A shopper on Oct 25, 2013
BEST ANSWER: As replied by a Revzilla Customer Service Rep to my question: We would not recommend mixed and matching different brands of heated gear. Each brand of gear is designed to work with their own temperature controllers and their specific wiring. By mixing different brands together you would void any warranty, and also run the risk of electrical problems. Because each brand designs their gear to be used with a specific gauge of wire, at a certain amperage level, and within their own system, crossing things over could damage the heating elements or controllers.

If you chose to mix any of the two, my Recomendation is to look at the overall amperage of the system, look for overage on the glove side due to the length of wire. Specifically look for the operating range of the liner, and compare it to the gloves. If the gloves exceeds the amount, don't use it. I ended up buying the tourmaster centurion riding suit.
They come with the splitter but does the cable set ( http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/alpinestars-tech-heat-cable-set ) come included or does it need to be purchased seperately?
A shopper on May 24, 2012
BEST ANSWER: The Alpinestars Tech Heated Gloves do come with a low amp battery harness that will power only the gloves, no controller. For a more robust harness and the ability to modulate the heat you must purchase the Alpinestars Tech Heat Cable Set.
Will the Alpinestars plug into a current style Gerbings heated jacket liner?
