Great boots with lousy toe sliders
The sliders come off. The more they come off, the less they go back on right. First one came off in a crash, and went back on easily. Next crash, the same one came off again and I needed a vise to force the rear tabs into the boot. Today, that one fell off a third time, but for no good reason at all. It happened either on my tame ride home, or on the walk from my desk to the parking garage. Now I'm ordering a new pair. Will they stay on, or am I wasting my money? These boots are less than a year old.

I'd have given them a better score for "Protection and Durability" if I had any reason to assume they'd be attached to the boot at any given moment in time.

I'm a bit peeved. Boots aren't supposed to be single use items.

I love everything else about the boots, but the slider design is really bad. The heel screws on. Use screws. They work. They're a proven technology.

Will these fit the Alpinestars SMX-1R Boots? (2016)
I like the boot but prefer a white toe slider.
