Great over cover for summer jacket in cold weather riding.
I wear an under armor long sleeve cold weather shirt coupled with my summer jacket and with this the rain suit jacket over. It serves as an excellent wind blocker, does not leak. I don't use the jacket's groin attachment. I rolled it up and secured it to the jacket.
I have not used the rain pants yet because I wear A* AST-1 WP paints. But I am going to pack the pants in my bag incase of a crazy weather event in the summer. This suit is small enough to pack as an emergency rain kit.
I wear a 46 USA / 56 EURO GP Pro Jacket and a size XL fits perfectly.

Another question on which size to get? I currently wear a 48EU Astars jacket and 46EU Astars pants. I have no idea what size to get, and I can't try one on as it's not available in NZ (so I'll be purchasing online). I prefer the rain suit to fit snug, and I'll be putting it on the jacket then on me, if that helps.
Keep up the great product vids. And thanks in advance.
I wear E50/US40 (I'm 5' 10" 75kg) sized Spidi full race suit and bought the LG, it is slightly to big but I wanted to be able to put it on without taking off my leathers and fitting as it is supposed to be (rain gear on leathers first) it still works a treat. Hope the info helps. Cheers HSep 19, 2015
hamish c:As good as this suit is for the purpose it was made, it is not designed as an every day item. No it will not fit over your boots. To buy the correct size you need to put the rain suit on your leathers first then put your leathers on. One size up and you put it on like normal rain gear but it still wont fit over your boots. The construction is strong and would hold up to communting though. Very good for wind protection too.Jul 30, 2015
I use the Alpinestars GP Pro 2 piece suit and need something to stay dry during rides in the rain. Do you recommend this product or something else? If you recommend this, witch size is most likely to be the best? The suit I am using is size 42 (USA) and 52 (EU) on both the jacket and pants and sits pretty tight on me.
I have wear a size 50 EU leathers (spidi) and bought these in size L. There are pretty good but are let down if you want to do normal road riding in the rain by the cut outs for the knee sliders and the pants fit inside your boots (not able to go over the boot) I bought one size larger than what would normally be "best" because the correct way to put these on is no put them onto your suit first then put your leathers on. I mainly used them for in colder weather to keep out the wind and they are good at that, I used then on a trip to Norway and couldn't really fault them. If you have any other Q's I'm happy to answer..Jun 19, 2015
Bruce G:I wore this rain suit for the first time at the track last weekend. I wear a Held Slade euro size 52 (US 42). I bought the size Large rain suit. Fit like a glove, but still allowed freedom of movement once on. The stretch panels in the rain suit work well. I think it would fit a size 50 also. The material of the rain suit makes getting it off and on a bit of a challenge as it doesn't slide over leather real well. I needed some help getting the top over my shoulders.May 14, 2014
David D:I wear Alpinestar GP Pro Jacket in US46 / EURO56 Jacket and I wear Alpinestar AST-1 WP Pants in XL and I use the XL Alpinestar Race Rain Suit. I don't use the crotch wrap or the pants (I rolled the crotch velcro section up and secured it to the back of the rain jacket incase I decide to use it later I still can) and I have no issues.Feb 25, 2014
