Alpinestars Pro Coolmax Socks
Perfect Summer socks
Really loved the fitting and they way the made me feel comfortable in my RST Tracktec Boots
I was using football socks earlier that was giving me tough time when tucking my leather pants in the boots and closing them
with this it really helps to slide in my foot in the boots effortlessly

Best warm weather sock I've owned
I have other A-stars Cool max socks along with some nike warm weather Soccer socks. By far, these ventilate the best. I had Gore Tex boots (no ventilation) and these socks kept my feel very comfortable, even in 95 degree Death Valley heat.
Excellent breath ability, very well made. They are full length, but so light that you don't realize it after a few minutes.

Unfortunately, not happy with these.
Very comfortable and good looking. However, one track day and one laundering, and these appear to have been run through a shredder. They looked fine before laundering, but pilled unbelievably after only one washing (per directions).

Cool & Comfortable
A little thinner than I expected, but seems to be of good quality. Very comfortable, and very cool. After a few washings, they seem to be holding up well.

Good match for MX / Adventure Boots
Feel comfortable and are better than regular cotton socks.
Good match for tall boots!
My boots size is 13, so I bought the socks in size LG-XL and fits perfect.
As always Alpinestars delivers good products.

Just what I needed
These socks are fantastic. Airflow is good. Recommended.

Bad wear on first use
Comfortable socks, breath well - but..... Worn in Alpinestars Toucan boots, the fabric pulled thread loops badly on first use. I had multiple pairs and each did the same. Loops of string pulled out all over the socks. I purchased for a 3 week trip and they performed for that, but with a lot of pulled thread loops. I think they'll still work fine, but they look bad. No issues with cheap cotton athletic socks in same boots.

No "bang for the buck" here
They have the advantage of being taller than a normal crew sock and that is about the only clear advantage I can tell.
I have about 90 days experience with these socks now and will routinely ride these socks or with pure cotton long crew socks as well. Same boots all the time.
I can tell no difference in "wicking" of moisture nor can I tell any difference in "coolness" of my feet when I ride.
Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against these socks but the only reason I will recommend them is their overall length. The added length will keep your boots off of your legs.
