Alpinestars Lite Backpack
Just the right size!
I was looking for a pack for commuting that was not too big, was water resistant, and would last! I believe the alpinestar's lite backpack fits that bill. But the main feature that sold me on it was the quick release on the left arm strap. As a bigger guy getting a pack on and off with a jacket on was a near impossible task. Not with the alpinestar's lite pack. The quick release makes putting the pack on or off extremely easy. The pack seems to be made well and the zippers are qualiity.

It goes good with a green Ninja
This Backpack feels durable and well constructed. It has a good design and the green one goes good with a green ninja. It keeps water out and is very comfortable. I would like it to have more pockets and to be a little bigger. It can carry your laptop and school stuff but it would get full with a hoodie. I recomend it but be aware the space is limited.

Keeps your stuff dry
So far I've had my bag for 90 days and its been used everyday since. It has been great for school and weekend trips, it seems to have just enough space. Usually holds 2 1/2 days worth of clothes, or two textbooks, a laptop, a couple notebooks and folders. As far as weather goes this thing stands up to the rain and snow without a problem downpour or light drizzle. Barely notice it while riding, comfortable straps that prevent a lot of movement. I'm a little nervous about the craftsmanship but well see how long the bag holds up.

PERFECT COMMUTING PACK!
i got this just for commuting to and from work, i must say, im surprised what all i can fit into it!
the straps keep it well centered on my back and i have no issues with it flying around on day trips.
the shape also keeps it quiet and streamlined to minimize the wind noise you would hear riding in the 3/4 to tuck positions.
(the speed limits here are 85 MPH, so i tend to tuck for my 2 hour commute)

nice bag for commuting.
nice fit and finish, love the detachable strap. front pocket is a little too small for an iphone, could be a little deeper, otherwise no complaints

Good backpack for the price
This is the first riding backpack that I ever bought. It is perfect for getting around town when you only need to carry a few small objects. I would not recommend this if you are planning very long trips and are trying to stuff it full of clothes and other necessities. This backpack is very comfortable to ride with and is very light. Also has great air flow over your back. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a small backpack to ride around town with.

This backpack WILL hold a 17" HP laptop! It's tight, but it fits. Plus the extra pockets are big. Not too sure how long the zippers will hold out, but so far so good!
I would definitely recommend this lite backpack for commuters and short trips.

My favorite Alpinestars product by far
I've used quite a bit of gear made from A*s, had a couple pairs of gloves that were both honestly trash that frayed apart only a couple months apart of riding, went through a couple jackets that were decent but still didn't feel like I was really getting the most of out the money spent, and more spent on a brand name.
However, this backpack is the perfect size and exactly what I needed in terms of commuting to & from work, the laptop pouch a solid slot with it's own velcro strap and it has a couple pockets attached to the larger one that I can easily slide my wallet, reg/insurance etc. into. The pockets go deep and the removable waist strap (for days you aren't feeling the need for it) coupled with the adjustable and elastic chest strap give a superior lightweight feel that doesn't flop around in the wind. My favorite feature I'd have to say would be that if adjusted properly and riding at the right speed, the wind slightly lifts the pack giving a nice breeze on those hot days. Vegas gets upwards of 110+ and I forget this bag is even there.
The black & green looks awesome, and coincides with my 98 zx6r's lime nicely, I'd say overall storage space to something relevant would be about a change of clothes, two bottles of water, and a laptop/tablet. A pair of shoes will make the bag feel a bit full combined with the listed above, but it can be done. If you were looking for a solid commuter backpack for quick trips around town or work, this would be my #1 choice.
