Standard, but looks great for the price
Got this in red to match all of my gear and nothing special about the backpack obviously because its the cheapest one AStars offers, but it does everything you want it to do! It's very big but not height wise so not uncomfortable to wear. I went to the store yesterday and got a six pack of bottles, a big thing of coffee creamer and some snacks. Still had room for more. I also use this for my gym clothes when I go to the gym and there is just a lot of room. This is a great backpack for the price. Oh, and if you're a skateboarder, the straps on the back are perfect for skateboards, not sure if they intended that but it works, trust me.

Perfect for daily use
I really like this pack. Not a hassle. Nice and compact... I wear it everywhere I go. Can pack clothes or hoodies, a pair of shoes with no issues. Good quality with no issues. I like the red interior with the alpinestars log throughout.

Can't go wrong with this bag
Pretty spacious and will pretty much hold all your stuff. I can fold up my moto jacket and pants and squeeze in a laptop and a notebook and it'll be fairly maxed out if I add a book or two.

It's a little weird at first because it sorta feels like any other cheaper backpack as the material is thin, but if you examine closer the material looks like it will hold up well. Kind of have to see for yourself.

Overall, good bag for commuting and riding around town.

Best bang for the buck
This was the best bang for the buck bag for just general use. Nothing fancy and just use it for work commutes. The style is nice and I really like the red interior. The only downside is the zippers rattle quite a bit especially while walking and hitting bumps. Rubber zippers would be a better option to reduce the noice. I may use some type on them to try and stop this. Overall a great bag for the price.

Is this backpack waterproof? I get caught in the rain on my bike sometimes, and I don't want to have to put all my stuff in plastic bags when I think it might rain.
A shopper on Apr 11, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I wouldn't say it is "waterproof" but I use this as a daily commuting backpack and have gotten caught in the rain plenty of times and I have never gotten home to find water on the inside. I personally wouldn't trust having electronics inside while riding in the rain though.
Does this backpack have waist or chest straps?
Phillip T on Nov 10, 2014
BEST ANSWER: It does not. Just a book bag. Also the zipper broke about a month ago, but in fairness I do abuse it.
Hi!
does a macbook-air fit in this?, and how does this hold up in rain?
Wilhelm K on May 4, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes and it's very weatherproof.
Can you fold this bag up or is the back rigid? I'd like a "crushable" bag that I can fold up and leave in my helmet (XXL) when I get groceries/run errands.
Lowcountry on Mar 31, 2015
BEST ANSWER: In a helmet that size, I don't see why not. I wouldn't say crushable, but foldable definitely.
