Alpinestars Hub Backpack
Great Pack for the purpose/price.
I recently received this pack from Revzilla. In my week or so with the pack I have found that it serves its purpose very well. I primarily use the pack to carry a couple of things to/from work and quick commuting and so far I have nothing but good things to say. My only gripe with the pack is that it does not have a helmet carrying mechanism but I knew this when I bought the pack so no big deal there. The pack is light at fits very well. When you put the pack on and cinch down both side straps and use the chest strap the weight is distributed properly. I rarely even know I have the backpack on (even when packed full). I do, however, notice where it meets up with my helmet. This is not an issue in the least and I could probably drop the pack down my back a bit further and clear that up it's just something I noticed when riding around. I gave it a 4 star for air flow because I didn't notice it stopping air flow from reaching my back but I was rather bundled up this past week so I will have to give a better evaluation when it warms up a bit and I can truly verify its air flow. I docked it a point on features just because it doesnt have some of the things you would like to see trickle down from the higher end packs (rain cover, helmet carrier, etc.). Again I knew this when I bought the pack so it's not a big deal. The size of this pack is definitely adequate. I have had all the contents from my pockets, 2 32oz gatorade, 1 large waterbottle, 2 bags of chips, maps for a trip we were taking, and more and the pack still had room to spare. The media pocket fits and iPhone perfectly and having the grommet to feed the earbuds cord through is greatly appreciated. Shortly after I bought this pack the Alpinestars roving backpack came out...For those looking in this price range i would give that one a check as well. All in all, this is a pack that, given it fits your needs, will be a great investment and you'll be glad you chose the hub.

Nice and compact.
Lets start with the size. Videos reall y do no justice for this pack. There is enough room to cram sweat pants and a sweat shirt inside. I rolled up a pair of 30x30 jeans and a hoodie and stuffed inside this pack. It is just the right size for a few school books for riding to school, who don't love that right?
This pack is just what you need and nothing more. I've rode with big bulky back packs that I could fit a weeks worth of cloths in, books all over the place, It is no fun.
This pack is ideal for an over night ride if you pack lite, to and from school, or blasting through the canyons or jungles. Not too sure on water proofing, but spray some water repelant on it for kicks.

great for a small backpack
this backpack has a lot of cool features. it has a cool sporty look to it and i like how the Alpinestars logo is reflective. backpack is great for thin things like a laptop, binders, or books. cant fit very bulky thins as it doesnt open out very far. overall, it is a good buy.

Great quality backpack
Needed a backpak for my commute to work. This one is great quality! the tabs on the zippers are large and "rubber" to make them easy to grab. Ton's of pockets/layers to put things in... but.. just like its name suggests.. "HUB".
It is meant to carry "laptops, tablets, files, papers, books. It could handle the shape of the Webster's Dictionary, but you wouldn't be able to get a men's shoebox into it, since it is very "tear drop" shaped and slim. I bet their other products are just as fine in quality. I can fit in a change of clothes, and water bottle and work tools (laptop)... etc... just not anything "bulky".

Small but good value
This backpack is on the smaller side but as long as you plan accordingly before your ride, it's perfect for day trips. I love that there is reflective material on the logo(any little bit helps) and the compartments are nice. What really impressed me was then I got stuck in a downpour/hailstorm on the way back from Philly, the laptop pocket kept my laptop dry and the other compartments kept the accessories dry.
In short this is a good weather-resistant bag but you may need something bigger if you have a 16+ inch laptop.
