Time will tell
I ordered the 2 X large this time. Had same style as these in X large. Feels better than before but, still feels tight. Saddle soap and wearing them they feel better. Last ones only got one riding season out them. They came apart at stitching in palm and some of the fingers. My first pair bought in 05 got 6 years out of. Go figure Idk

almost a good investment
Bought these gloves about 2 months ago. Been using them 3 days a week at the most. The velcro has started to lift and the leather between the thumb and first finger has started to shred up and crumble away. Other than that the gloves are great. Looks cool, super solid and a great fit.
But I think overall the gloves would be a solid investment if it weren't for the flaws in craftsmanship. I am however pretty annoyed that my $220aud a* gloves are starting to fizz out already. I hope for their sake this is a once off....

I wish it wasn't true
I purchased these gloves on 03/10/2013. I rode in them for two days and one of the seams blew out on the ring finger. I contacted Astars to get them repaired, and there was no problem with that. I sent them the gloves and they fixed them and sent them back to me. Overall with shipping it took about 4 weeks to get them back. I have now been riding in them for a little over 2 weeks I guess and they are breaking in and starting to be more comfortable, but this morning when I was strapping the cuff down I wound up ripping the stitching out that holds the flap with the velcro onto the main body of the cuff. In all honestey it is only cosmetic so I'm just going to live with it and not send them to Astars to get fixed. It just makes me sad that I have had problems with these gloves in regards to the craftsmanship especially considering the cost. It does kill my confidence in the gloves when it comes to the durability in the event of a crash. I have a pair of Astars Apex gloves and those have treated me very well, and my wife has a pair of Astars SP2 gloves that she crashed in and they held up awsome, but the GP M/Plus not so much.

I wear these on the street. I am an XL in Astars gloves it would seem, large in US fitments. Got these in white and green. Amazing craftsmanship and attention to detail on these gloves! Super protective and snug! I ride with these on the street. The pinky bridge isn't bad at all. Just be prepared to allow substantial time for break in. The comfort level should increase abit as the knuckle sliders are digging into my skin somewhat, but I guess that's the sacrifice for protection which does give peace of mind while riding. I really hope they last, for the price they better as the grip area is already showing minor wear.
