Alpinestars SP-S Glove
Great fit and feel
I owned a pair of this gloves from back in 2009 and these new gloves are outstanding. Feel great inside and do not make your hands too hot on hot days and with the help of some glow inserts keeps your hands fairly warm when riding in <50 weather. Great purchase for the everyday rider!

Good everyday glove
This is the second pair of alpinestars glove that I have had. After my dog ate one of the gloves from my first pair, I decided to go back with alpinestars. This glove is very comfortable and offers good protection, and looks great. I have about 3k miles on them so far and they are holding up extremely well. I have no doubt these well last me for a long time to come. If you live in cooler climate though you may want to get something else. Below 60 degrees is about the limit you may want to wear these at as these gloves vent really well.

Fit like a mesh glove, protection like a gauntlet.
I've owned many different gloves that range from mesh to leather gauntlet and these by far take the cake. They fit nice and tight on the hand so you don't have extra fabric hanging around, the protection it offers is outstanding, and the way they look is awesome. I've never been a fan of the full knuckle carbon fiber but this glove offers the same quality protection without the discomfort and over-the-top looks. The only issue I have with these is there is slight fading from the sun but that's any glove if you go on long enough rides to tan the leather. I have had my pair for a little more than a year and when I need to replace them, it will be with another pair of these.

Great Gloves Long Lasting!
This will be the second set of these gloves i have owned. I always went through mesh gloves around 1 every 3-4 months. First got these as large but after about 3 months they got just a little to loose. The 1st pair i got lasted about 1.5 years. Was very comfortable but not to hot either for the hot summers here in FL. Just now got the mediums been about 1 month still a little tight but they are breaking in perfectly. I believe these are nice to compromise for air flow Vs. protection lots of vents and no cuffs. Great Gloves!

These have worked great for me
So this is my first glove since I got my first bike. They run a bit small but from what I'm told all alpinestars do. I've done about 8000 miles with them commuting to school daily and having fun on the weekends. I use them year round since they're currently my only glove and their most certainly not the best for winter but they do the job. In the summers they're fine, never too hot. Mine have no wear other than where i scraped the top of my index finger after dropping my bike at a stop. I also love the style with the full carbon fiber back piece. All in all I'm pretty sure they'll stand up to another 8000 miles easy.

Atrractive glove, but not worth the money.
This glove designed by Alpinestars has great stitch quality and a comfortable fit. My hand tends to run in a 2x to 3x size so I would reccomend to go a size bigger if you choose to buy this glove. The only problem I seem to experience with most leather gloves is that they tend to wear thin quickly in between the fingers right along the ends or tip portion of the fingers. The rest of the glove still holds up well over a 1 1/2 yr to 2 1/2 yr span. I wouldn't reccomend these gloves especially if you ride alot (wearing gloves I hope) and expect these gloves to last during that time frame as I stated above. Spend less money for equal quality to save yourself some dissapointment.

Previous version better
I prefer the previous version of this model that seems to fit better to size and last longer.

Wore out within 1000 miles and 1 month
I bought these a month ago and after almost 1000 miles the thumb of my right hand wore all the way through to the liner and the stiching started to come apart near the velcro strap on both gloves. I got a return authorization from alpinestars and they are taking care of it though so props for that
