Akrapovic Slip-On Exhaust Honda CBR 600 RR

The Akrapovic SLIP-ON exhaust system is designed for riders who do not want to make expensive and difficult modifications to their stock exhaust system. However, the Hexagonal muffler delivers great looks as well as increased performance for the sporty Honda. The Akrapovic Slip-On system comes in open and street-legal versions.

Power and Torque: the system follows the stock power curve at the low end of the rpm range. From 6000 rpm on, the Akrapovic Slip-On adds a significant increase in power, all the way up to the top of the rpm range. The torque increase is spread throughout the entire rpm range and is suited to more relaxed everyday riding.

One of the BEST slip-ons you could buy! Since I didnt plan on turning my 07' cbr 600 rr into a track bike, i knew i didnt need a full exhaust system and so I stayed with the slip-on. The install was no problem very simple as long as you can follow directions. Only pain was removing stock exhaust. The resonating sound is simply amazing. Akrapovic states the slip-on can give you 2-3 more hp in the higher end but since i havent gotten around to a dyno, it hasnt concerned me too much. The main reason for my purchase was for its looks and sound. It fits seamlessly on the undertail of my bike and the carbon fiber tip makes it seem like its not even there. Believe it or not, the change in the sound alone from stock to slip-on has definitely increased my "visibility" on the road and car drivers are more aware of my presence. I dont need to constantly rev my engine or dont need to blast by cars like harleys to make sure im noticed. I felt that it might've been on the slightly expensive end but having revzilla cash essentially sold me to buy the slip-on from revzilla.com June 29, 2011
