Akrapovic Slip-On Exhaust Ducati Multistrada

Akrapovic's sporty and lightweight SLIP-ON systems offer a great balance between price and performance and represent the first step in the exhaust system tuning process. The change will also be visual as our HEXAGONAL muffler perfectly fit the exterior line of the Multistrada and add a clean racing image. The striking muffler with titanium muffler outer sleeve and carbon fiber outlet cap perfectly complements the lines of the bike. The Slip-On system is legal for street use.

Power & Torque: the exhaust system modification with the SLIP-ON EC Type approval system results in a major boost in performance, delivering a massive 140.8 HP at 9270 rpm on back wheel. But the increased power isn’t available just at the top of the range; the system shows its quality already from 2000 rpm up through entire rpm range. Max. increased power between the Akrapovic and the stock system is 1 HP at 9270 rpm. Besides this, the torque is substantially higher in a lower rpm area at 7000 rpm and from that area towards high rpm area.

Akrapovic Slip-On Exhaust Ducati Multistrada 2010-2012 5 5 1 1

Nice exhaust slip on Really nice replacement for the stock silencer. Pretty simple to swap out, took about a half an hour to install. Also the exhaust is directed down and away from the bike, so the heat is much less for the passenger. Also no issues with the paniers they fit with no adjustment at all. Last there are no engine related performance issues either. Works great! I actually took a YouTube video of it on my Multistrada 1200S comparing the stock sound to the Akrapovic. You can see it on YouTube. July 30, 2012
