Akrapovic Slip-On Exhaust BMW F650GS / F700GS / F800GS

The Akrapovic Slip-On system looks great on the BMW, and improves the performance of the engine. The system is designed as a base-level exhaust system modification. The EC Type approval version includes an approved noise damper.

Power & Torque: even as a base-level component, the Akrapovic Slip-On SP series system delivers a performance increase. The largest effect is shown on the torque curve, while the power curve is also increased, especially in the middle and at the top of the rpm range. Max. power was 85.3 HP at 8400 rpm, and max. increased power was 0.7 HP at 6600 rpm.

Nice addition to an F800GS It's hard to tell how much performance boost I get from the can, but it does change the sexy Rod Stewart BMW sound to the super sexy Barry White Akropovic sound. :) January 21, 2013

Being Heard is Being Seeing Performance or MPG wise, it haven't noticed any difference over stock exhaust. But with the stock exhaust my F800GS was like a lion without a roar. It now has the umph and respect on the road it deserved. Without the silencer - Bike is loud, alright. Loud enough for drivers to go out of their way to know where the bike is coming from With the silencer - there is no bike more quiet. I use the silencer when going out at night or early in the morning to avoid disturbing the neighbors. Overall - very happy with purchase. should have probably done this before putting extra lights on the bike to increase visibility. Believe it, being heard is being seen. Being seen is safety! And Safety is King :). The video does give the loudness justice. It's actually louder! June 6, 2012
