Akrapovic Exhaust Systems Yamaha R6

Akrapovic Racing and Evolution systems are designed for riders who demand maximum performance. Both systems are significantly lighter if compared to stock exhaust system and feature exceptional production quality, hi-tech materials and of course increased engine performance combined with pure racing sound output. The Akrapovic Racing and Evolution systems were developed to complement the racing character of the R6. Evolution system is made entirely of our exclusive high grade titanium while Racing system uses stainless steel header tubes and link pipe. We offer titanium or carbon-fiber muffler outer sleeve for each combination. Both systems are not EC Type approval and are designed for racing purpose only. 

Evolution Features:

• Oval-shaped canister with your choice of carbon fiber or titanium outer sleeve
• Conical or cylindrical shaped, hydroformed header and link pipe are made of stainless steel or titanium; type of construction is based on maximum increase in performance
• Crossover tubes may be installed based on the results of testing
• Most models come with preinstalled fitting for lambda connection
• Ceramic anti-seizing grease, made especially for use with titanium, is used to prevent seizing, corrosion and excessive wear of parts of the exhaust system made of titanium (due to vibration and extreme temperatures)
• Evolution Kit systems are available for select models; intended only for races that allow louder exhaust systems -107 dB
• Evolution Kit systems feature a 300mm muffler, high-mount design and include a carbon fiber muffler mounting bracket

Racing Features:

• Conical shaped and hydroformed header is made of stainless steel; crossover tubes may be installed on certain models
• Link pipe may be cylindrical and in some models made of titanium; type of construction is based on maximum increase in performance

Shared Features:

• Hexagonal mufflers feature a carbon fiber outlet cap to match the design of each bike
• Outlet cap, perforated inner sleeve and inlet cap are all made of titanium
• Joint of the inlet cap is milled on a state-of-the-art CNC machine and connected by high-quality silicon-shielded tempered springs
• Include a lightweight, compact and high-temperature-resistant carbon fiber muffler clamp
• When the position of the exhaust system needs to be changed and the stock bracket is no longer usable, a carbon fiber bracket is included
