Akrapovic Exhaust System Suzuki GSXR600 / GSXR750 

The Akrapovič Racing system is designed for riders who demand maximum performance. The Racing System is significantly lighter if compared to stock exhaust system and features exceptional production quality, high-tech materials and of course increased engine performance combined with pure racing sound output. The Akrapovič Racing System was developed to enhance the racing character of the Suzuki GSX-R, and uses stainless steel header tubes and link pipe. We offer titanium or carbon-fiber muffler outer sleeve. System is not EC Type-approved and is designed for racing only.

Power & Torque: The power increase with the Akrapovic exhaust system is substantial, and can be seen from 3500 rpm right to the top of the range. At 14250 rpm we measured 118 HP, with max. increased power of 7 HP at 14250 rpm. The system’s effect on the torque curve is similar to the power curve. WARNING! Akrapovic recommends checking the Lambda sensor when after installing this exhaust. If the air-to-fuel ratio is too high the engine may be damaged. Akrapovic recommends this is performed by a Suzuki dealer concurrent with the exhaust installation.

recommend to everyone I ride a 2012 gsxr 750. this exhaust system was pretty easy to install and the detailed instructions with pictures made it even easier to do. the instructions were made easy enough that people that are not that mechanically incline could do it. The performance and sound that i got out of it made it worth every penny. if you are looking for more power but still want the fairly stock sound you can keep the baffle in. or do like i did and remove the baffle which has a spot weld on the nut. so use a dremel and cut the weld and it will come out with ease. With the baffle out, the sound is much louder and deeper but with a clean and crisp sound. Anyone who purchase this system will not disappointed. And RevZilla sells them at outstanding price, with great costumer support. March 11, 2013
